After last night's episode of I'm A Celebrity, we saw that Sugababes member Heidi Range was chosen to face politician Andrew Mitchell in the first public-voted trial, entitled Fearsome Fry-Up. Certainly different! While Andrew was feeling more confident about the trial, Heidi certainly needed some calming down from her fellow camp-mates, which Greg later admitted in the Bush Telegraph was 'starting to get annoying'.
So, Andrew and Heidi arrived at the bushtucker clearing for the second time each after yesterday, and an apprehensive Heidi admitted that a pep talk from mother hen of the camp Pauline made her carry on the journey. Andrew, however, was ready and raring to go, after losing yesterday's trial - is he suggesting that Amy Williams was his weak spot?
The first breakfast meal for our diners to feast into was Eggs Bene-dick - penis on a bun with cheese on top. Ant worried Heidi for a moment when he joked that the penis in Eggs Bene-dick was one of the production team's, however she managed to calm down when he told her that it wasn't actually true. Andrew, surprisingly, managed to eat the eggs bene-dick straight away, and after a few munches from Heidi, she also managed to.
The next course was just as disgusting and to the point as it sounds - Scrambled Eyes. As soon as the plate was delivered to Heidi, she refused to eat it. However, Andrew, surprisingly again, got straight into the meal, and took it to 2-1 his way.
The third course was Black Spider Pudding - baked tarantula on a black pudding. Heidi once again needed some calming down and ended up, after a whole lot of gagging, swallowing it full. This was the first one that took Andrew longer than Heidi, and after more and more screaming (and laughing from Ant & Dec), he completed it and brought it up to 3-2.
The penultimate round was Camel Sausage, and I can imagine you'd already know what that could be about! Andrew started to become apprehensive and nervously turned down the offer, but at the same time you could tell he's fairly confident he'd win. However, Heidi just tried to imagine it's real sausage and tucked straight in, and managed to bring it back to 3-3.
The final round was Hot Cocklate - yes, grounded cockroaches. Both Heidi and Andrew drunk it, but only Heidi managed to finish it, and Andrew left quite a remainder. Andrew was left in shock about losing to Heidi, but Heidi was absolutely thrilled. While the other campmates were predicting how many she'd miss out on (many saying all 5), Heidi came running back to told the rest of her campmates that she won 4 and won the task, leaving many in shock, primarily Greg, who admitted he was expecting to starve.
Meanwhile, Whitney and Pauline were sent to face the first Dingo Dollar Challenge - entitled Fishing With The Stars. The duo would have to fish against each other for as many stars as possible in a 10 minute time limit. A bikini-clad Whitney wasn't sure how to use her fishing rod, while a non-bikini-clad Pauline failed to get any stars in the 10 minute duration - well, she gave up after 7 minutes.
Despite a very poor Dingo Dollar Challenge, Whitney managed to get 2 stars, which was more than Pauline, meaning she had won. She headed her way over to the shop and was given the option of Custard Creams or Bourbons. Thinking she would be choosing on Bourbon the drink, she went for the latter. The question was 'When did The Hills first air? A) 2006 or B) 2008'.
Jordan answered the phone for the question, and while his fellow, mainly older, campmates had no idea what the show was, Jordan felt pretty sure that it was fairly recent, so went for B, which was 2008. As it was 2006, Whitney returned with no bourbons.
But, for the other team, it was venison for dinner, and Pauline cooked up a treat for her team. In the Bush Telegraph, Heidi admits that she couldn't be in a better state than she was at this moment in time - will the public agree?
Tomorrow, a celebrity from each camp will face another head-to-head trial, entitled Creepy Crawl. Here's all you need to know...
"Two celebrities will have a jolly day out… down the jungle sewers. They’ll be getting all dirty on their hands and knees (ooh err), and will try to find as many stars as possible to exit the sewers first. But it’s not that simple, oh no. The celebrities better like the company of bugs, rats and snakes!"
You'll get to choose which two celebrities go underground for the Creepy Crawl, and Luke will announce the result later tonight!
