I don't understand this American repulsion to things like corned beef and black pudding. This is the country who gave us hot dogs, chicken nuggets and cheese in a can!

The Americans eat Corned Beef I have had it loads of times there.

They call minced up , re-shaped beef cutlets, salisbury steaks, poor people eat thos, so i'm told.

Well...........one good thing came out of our recent intensive corned beef threads................

I bought a fray bentos 'Classic' Steak Pudding in a tin and had it for lunch today.............it was grrrrrrrreat !

I've always loved a steak pud but they're such a bummer to cook..........steam for about 6 hours for a few mouthfuls........

But now I've got a microwave it's tinned steak puds all the way...........I'm going to stock up on them.............

No!!! You can't put a tin in the microwave!

Did you ever see the episode of Married With Children where Kelly was going for an audition to be Miss Weenie Tot..........

They talk about the secret recipe and a bloke walks past with a wheelbarrow full of 'beaks and claws'.............and everyone at the Weenie factory only has one hand..............

I think they're now actually in little plastic microwaveable 'tins'. And ... if you go to B&M on certain days - they have them at a great price.

I'm not too fond of them (hubby likes them though).
