Why is she wearing a hood indoors?

I just don't get her song or her singing!!!

I didn't actually realise it was her singing, and thought that is dire and so repetitive. Her singing was mediorce, but the song was dreadful.

Was she miming?
Also her outfit wasn't great. She could've worn something better.
