And with the mega promotion of being a mentor every week on the biggest entertainment show on TV, Tulisa has managed to be outperformed by her band-mate who didn't have that kind of promotion and also has an utterly repulsive personality (although I am aware that it is only British female popstars who need to be humble). Tulisa's solo "success" is very underwhelming when you compare her to Cheryl Cole.

I agree that the way people treat her is (from what I've seen) largely unjustified, but that doesn't mean she should go and fulfill their deluded view of her! And nothing about her tweet was sticking up for herself.

All she said was No Words.
Alex didn't direct her tweet at anything, the public knew who it was about because everyone was thinking about it.

She shades in a classy way

1 properly supported album campaign from AB outsold Tulisa's entire career with N-Dubz so I don't think that's really relevant. Tulisa's other songs have been flopping, she is so desperate for sales she was begging fans to send her screenshots on twitter of the order confirmation page lmao.

So? How is that relevant? The point still stands that Tulisa has had quite a successful career before X Factor while Misha and Alex are struggling to maintain theirs without it. I just don't think they're in much of a position to shade.

Misha and Alex are lovely. Calm down dear”

I love those girls. I stan HARD for them. I just loved how they completely dug into Tulisa.

Were they definitely talking about Tulisa? Perhaps Alexandra meant it in a positive way about Pink, ie there are no words to describe how amazing she was.

It didn't stop Cher Lloyd shading Cheryl directly when she was being publicly crucified in the UK, so I'm not understanding why it's a different rule for Alex...

Tulisa attempted to mime , while Pink showed her how it should be really done. And yes I'm a huge Pink fan

All tulisa has is her looks ....and louis. Nothing to crow about really!! Plus the other two are still in the limelight doing tours/albums etc. And can sing too!!!

Still...... Alex has sold more with 2 albums, 1 being a complete mess.

While Tulisa on 3/4? oh.
And 100k of tulisa's sales contributed from leaking her own sex video.”

I'm pretty confident her first week sales will be more than Alex's totals.

Alex sold more after two albums yes but she needed a reality show to even get noticed. Tulisa didn't need to enter a reality show to break into the music industry.

Has Alex even headlined an arena tour?

They aren't shading Tulisa's career, they were shading THAT PERFORMANCE which was dire. What don't you understand?

They are both in the perfect position, both Misha and Alex can perform and sing WELL.

She's only following like 2000 people so obviously that didn't work out for her....Sight Of Flop is stalling on iTunes, and she's already had one underperforming single already. Don't know why she thinks she can shade Alex when her solo debut is heading for disaster.

Misha's last single was actually brilliant the "Do you think of me" one.

I thought Tulisa was okay though she wasn't that bad...

She did a theatre tour... which was sold out, like 35 dates.
N Dubz didn't do an arena tour... and if they did (I don't follow them tbf) they didn't perform at every arena because they skipped the local arenas near me (Capital FM Arena - Nottingham)

Yes as did Leona, as did Olly Murs... Are you saying the same thing for them aswell? Reality TV is just a way to get exposure.

Nobody cared about Tulisa until she became an X Factor judge. Before she was just that girl in the back of N-Dubz. Dappy was the star.

I don't know about you but I would prefer to have three platinum albums in a row over one massively successful album and then completely flopping.

Cher didn't really shade Cheryl as a performer, she just said they hadn't kept in touch, which she later apologised for. Quite different? I don't know, I didn't like it when Cher did it either.

I do get that, but it still comes across as a bit iffy because the career context is there whether its relevant or not.

Misha got a top 10 hit with only Radio 1 airplay, and a top 20 with the same. Why would either be Jealous? Alex has achieved more than Tulisa ever will. And both have more talent.
