Well I'm a Granny and I think it's a shame that Union J are out, Chris should have gone without a doubt

All of my aunties and my mum love Chris and my mum told me she was going to vote for Chris because she feels sorry that he's good but gets so much criticism.

Why??

My mum loves Chris too, he really knows how to corner that Cliff Richard market.

I think the Granny vote is a sign of changing times.
A few years most would have worried about a gay grandson/ son/ nephew... but these days every sad or lonely granny wants one.
Good company, stays in touch, helps with the house, chats and watches Corrie with you.
So Chris gets their vote. Add in a bit of Liverpudlian redial and the votes of those who see it as an hilarious anti-Cowell protest.

Perhaps Chris will finish 2nd - it's only when the 'anyone but Chris' vote joins in that he will be stopped.

Im a grandmother and I would rather see Union J in the final - they have been consistently good. I do not like Chris - he is a wedding/cruise boat singer and I just cannot understand who the hell is voting for him.

On Facebook last night, most of my friends around my age were disappointed that Union J had gone.

I think the show has been grans vs teens from day one. If anything, I think the grans have had their way more times than the teens.

Apart from the anti-Cowell voters, maybe those getting him through are the same kind of people that got Jane MacDonald a double platinum #1 album a few years ago. I am not voting for him and I won't be buying his album if he wins, but I can accept that there are people out there with different tastes to my own.
