I really think, that Chris Maloney is ONLY getting thru each week on bum votes.
Remember a few years ago the boycott was for xmas No1 and Rage Against The Machine was bought out and thus stopped Joe Mcelderry getting to No1 and holding the coverted title.

I think personally there is some "underground" conspiracy in that, all the Xfactor "haters" are voting for the worst act. Even Rylan knew he couldnt sing an amitted it, but his humour and comedy made it easier to keep him in for fun factor.

So I think maybe Chris MAY win, based on reverse voting, and thus he will get the most votes in order to then launch evidence and news that the conspiracy has been staged and won, and creating a mockery of the show, and its dominance of, music, tv and above all money with tv rights, merchandise and especially the cost of voting!!

Or...nobody actually votes relative to viewing figures so someone with a core following in a year with no standout talent has a good chance

The X Factor is not important, there is no 'underground' group block voting a particular artist.

It seems implausible but just saw this tweet from Caitlin Moran‏@caitlinmoran

"My timeline is full of people who've voted Maloney JUST to screw over X factor. That's fairly a unprecedented action toward a show".

The whole Rage thing proves it could totally happen, both by people trying to end the show (consensus is his winning would have the McManus impact on the show), & others who love the show but think it's a giggle to mess with them.

Oh God he's really going to win isn't he. Eek.

He already had a massive following, that's why he won the wild card by miles. Well before any conspiracy story. I cannot stand James, I think he over sings and kills the songs. Jahmene is a better singer for me, but he screams at times which I think spoils some of the songs. But that's my opinion, if they win , I wish them every luck in the world. Because it takes great courage to do what they do. Look at tulisa tonight she was nervous as hell and said she was glad it was over. Every person has a different taste of music and I think that is brilliant, but for the life of me I cannot understand the hatred to Chris. I know of many famous artist who wouldn't give you the crap of there shoes. But some of them I have purchased there music. That's the way it is, but I wouldn't wish them any harm.

I can - the same people who paid for a single they didn't like to keep Joe McElderry off the number 1 spot.

I doubt it tbh. I've seen a lot of people say they're voting to screw the show over, but how many people would waste their money on a show they don't like to watch in the first place, really? Would seem stupid to me. Not that being stupid would stop people from doing it.

Every person has a different taste of music and I think that is brilliant, but for the life of me I cannot understand the hatred to Chris.
The hatred is unfortunate, but that's what these shows always turn into unfortunately - whoever you don't like, you have to say bad things about. In his case it's compounded by the sense that he's hurting the show by being there.

The fact he is In the final. There's one. The fact he won the wild card by miles there's two. Or do you think when they put him through as the wild card , they thought I know we will mess cowell up.
