Perrie hadn't recorded solo before, unlike Jaymi. But I do think they will ditch George first, probably before the xfactor tour. They will want to do the tour as the original trio

Keith Lemon, of all people, was the first on the show to point out how amazing Jaymi is - the judges never mentioned it. Keith Lemon. Says it all really.

I've said a couple of times that George doesn't look like he fits in. Not sure it was a good idea to put him with the other three.

I don't think Jaymi would make it.

He's got the best voice, but it's not as chart friendly as some of the others - and the gay thing could limit his tween appeal too much (see Joe McElderry and the subsequent need to re-brand).

Pretty sure all the judges have bigged up Jaymi at some point as he is the stand out talent in the band. I just think they didn't want to hurt the other guys feelings by doing it every week.

It would be very bad PR if they dumped George before the tour. I think he will survive until at least after their first album.

Also, I doubt that their contract would allow them to dump him. They got their place in live shows as Union J and will have to perform as Union J, which includes George.

They'll never get rid of George... why would they? They're all obviously very close which is clear by watching their Twitcams etc. Visually he may look different to the other guys but that don't mean he doesn't fit in.

On the topic of Jaymi, he's got an incredible voice but he shouldn't go solo. He works great in Union J.

I think George will leave due to unspecified "personal reasons" so their contract for the tour will still be valid

Why did two members of Boyzone/Westlife/McFly etc etc (i.e. almost every boyband) sing. Cos you let the best singers sing - and the others are there to look pretty (e.g. Nicky Byrne!)

I agree with Westlife and Boyzone. But McFly play instruments, so it's a sort of given that they have predominant. 3 out of 4 of them sing, but two main vocalist.
