This would mean that Melanie, Kye, Lucy, Jahmene and MK1 should have also been ripped to shreds. MK1 in particular as they were already signed to a label.

Having a past career in particular a successful past career is now permitted on x factor. I have no doubt that there is also 1000s of singers out there that would never have thought to audition for the show because they didn't think they were good enough. As of this year X Factor have started to scout for these people and invite them to audition. If that is why you people are ultimately sitting here slagging Christopher off, who in the reality look stupid? it sure is not Christopher

If people are voting for chris because they like him, I dont see any problem with it at all, thats kind of what teh show is about.

However, if people are voting for him to 'get at cowell' or any other silly reason, then I despair.

Chris winning because of that sort of vote only hurts one person, and thats chris. Cowell will sign whomever he wants to anyway, if he doesnt want chris, he wont ever be in contact with the man, his staff will just put an album out and then drop him,, the win wont embarrass cowell one bit, 'its solely the publics choice nothing to do with me' is always the get out response, and at the end of it all, the only one with broken dreams and a shattered ego will be Maloney .

Dont like his singing myself, but wouldnt wish that sort of humiliation on anyone.

Then surely its X Factor that should be getting slagged off surely? As they are not allowed to tell anyone.

When did Kye ever reveal that he had sang in fairly successful band?

When did Melanie ever reveal on the show that she in fact was a pretty successful singer when she was younger?

When did MK1 ever reveal that they were signed to a label already?

When did Lucy ever mention having a management group or that her music was already selling on itunes before x factor?

When has Jahmene ever revealed that he was in fact asked to audition and was scouted from youtube as a youtube singer?

None of them did because they were not allowed until the live shows started and even then they chose not to

Not allowed is that a fact .

Christopher did not lie in the auditions, he clearly said he had never sang to such a large audience before, he then said on the live show that yes he had sang on cruise ships years ago to a couple of 100 people.

He would not have been ALLOWED to tell anyone that until after the live show started, He is in fact been the only truthful one as none of the others have said a word.

I already posted the reveal on here weeks ago, it clearly states that they are not allowed to reveal to the judges their past until live shows, so that the judges cannot make biased choices for live shows, its the only fair way to do it

It's a shame that presumably only applies to their musical experience and not the personal sob stories.

It's just going in circles. Nobody talks about the actual merits of a singing competition, or anything substantial, it's all idle gossip about this dude.”

But didn't tulissa and Louis say it wasn't just a singing competition?

Only one of those is in the final though ... and being spotted on You tube isn't the same thing as being a professional performer, who has made a living, for years, in that business they call show
