Haha; can definitely imagine that securing a lot of votes up in Scotland . Might text my Rangers supporting friends, see if that'll swing a few votes his way

(Although not my Celtic supporting uncle; think he'd vote for Chris if I mentioned it!)

Even IF he did get a massive vote boost from Rangers fans isn't it likely that it might make Celtic fans vote for Jahmene and/or Chris in equally large numbers??

The Scottish vote is a plague for X-Factor and the UK POP Idol. Do I need to spell it out?

How can we possibly know that he secured a massive Rangers vote? All we know is that he tried to.

I don't think telling people which football team you support means you're trying to get votes. Someone might have asked him which team he supports.

Probably for Chris in that case : with a name like Maloney, he's almost certainly one of the large number of people of Irish Catholic extraction in Liverpool.

Why was he at the Riverside in a Boro shirt on Xtra Factor claiming to be a massive Boro fan. Maybe he's obe of those people who is a fan of two teams.

Do sectarian football fans really bother to vote on X Factor? Just wondering.

Sevco 5088 FC.

Rangers Football Club (1872-2012) no longer exists.

I'm not being bitter... just telling the truth!

TBH, I doubt Sevco will last all that long anyway as I can see BDO contesting the legality of the sale of the old clubs assets to Green at such a low value! Everything about the old and new clubs stinks of corruption!

Anyway... back to the XFactor!

not all rangers fans are sectarian! so if you're asking if rangers fans vote then yes we do! also the club has been supporting him too e.g. look at striker Andy Little's Twitter:

"@AndyLittle29: Now following @JamesArthur23 I was an @Ella__Henderson fan tbh but having met his dad at Ibrox on Sun I really hope he does it! Gd luck pal!"
