Well I thought it was actually a decent ending and has certainly given them somewhere to go with it - how long for, I don't know. I suppose it would be interesting if they spent S3 trying to clear Brody's name only for the big twist to be that it
was him all along.
I suppose, thinking logically, it's the only way they can really go. Estes obviously wanted him dead, so could certainly have conceived the plot to frame him, but at the cost of his own life ?
As Quinn said, he's not going to rise politically, so he's no threat to anyone so in that respect, there's no need for anyone to frame him.
I suppose there's a chance we could have a "new" Nazir. I guess we've seen it enough times in the news about major terrorist targets being killed or captured and their second in command steps up to take their place, so i guess if they want to be factually accurate, they could simply introduce Nazir's number two as the new main villain who was responsible.
It would be a leap though, so, for me anyway, it really only leaves one way they can go with this and that is that it
is Brody after all.
I'm kind of glad it's done for now though as I was starting to get
seriously irritated with Dana, and also even moreso with Carrie as well. If there had been any more episodes, I may even have dumped the show because she just irritated me
that much
