Well, those of us who did enjoy it obviously hold a different opinion to yourself.

At least you won't need to bother with Season 3 now.
Surely that goes without saying?

A couple of months away from it being back on our screens in October but the very first trailer for season 3 has arrived.

I've no idea what direction they're going inbut it looks really good i must say, i really can't wait for this.

There are no spoilers in the trailer although some may get nightmares seeing a bald Brody!

It's begun! The teasers for Season 3 of Homeland have started appearing on Ch4.

For anyone who wants to catch up on season 2, More4 will be repeating the show starting on Tue 24th September.

Just a heads up for anyone who might be interested but More4 starts the repeat of Season 2 tonight at 12.10midnight.

In other news, over the weekend Claire Danes won her 2nd Emmy Award for Best Actress Drama and the show won a Best Writing Award Emmy for the show's 5th episode called Q&A.

I’ve just noticed this isn’t actually mentioned in this thread – season 3 premiers on Channel 4 on Sunday 6th October at 9pm.

Is it a feature length opener? As we're only one week behind the States, will there be any pesky "breaks" or, fingers crossed, a straight run through to Christmas again?

It’s a single episode premier, same as the US, being broadcast 7 days later in the UK.
As Homeland is a ‘Showtime’ programme there shouldn’t be any breaks in the run of the season so it should air on consecutive weeks on Channel 4, one week behind the US.

US cable networks (Showtime, HBO, FX, TNT, etc) don’t take ‘breaks’ during a programmes run, unlike US terrestrial networks (NBC, CBS, ABC, etc) which do.

Yeah as NoEntry2K said there are very rarely breaks in cable shows as they normally are 10-13 episodes

As a rule, but there's random holidays, like the missed week of Dexter because of Labor ( American spelling) day, and telethons, " football" matches etc.

Perhaps but it normally happens to be one week. A network show is much worse for people who dislike breaks between episodes as an example Family Guy, which is starting this Sunday will air two episodes before going on a month break (most likely due to football matches) before returning to air 3-4 more episodes before the invitable mid-season break.

Looking forward to it!

I have just caught up with the first two seasons back to back over the past week. Might watch UK pace if there's only a week difference!

Tonight on More4 you can see the season 2 finale at 1.10am before the brand new season starts tomorrow night on Ch4 at 9pm.

See you all then!

I just made a new thread Homeland Series3 UK Pace [No Spoilers ]http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1896845
This is the official and already established thread for Homeland on Ch4 as we've already discussed Homeland Season 1 and 2 on here hence why it's reached Part 2 already.

I believe that the Simpson's premiere last week was a Homeland parody episode if anyone is interested in checking that out

Homerland by any chance? I will look out for the episode, if it's online.

Claire Danes shows us in the first 15mins still what an amazing actress she is. Good opener so far.

I'm guessing Saul is now the boss of the Agency?
