Here are my thoughts
The boy Dana met in therapy is a plant to find out if Brody is in touch with Dana.

Saul has toughened up even during this episode, he is now in charge, he did not get the reconciliation with his wife he thought was going to happen and it was after that he gave the order to carry out the assassinations, signalling a new ruthlessness.

Saul really had no choice but to confirm Carrie was sleeping with Brodie as in series 2 they got her to cosy up to Brody and they had them under surveillance and the whole team including Quinn heard them shagging.

Who is left who could have moved the car?

How much tequila can Carrie drink?

I hope Saul's wife goes back to India and leaves him in peace instead of stringing him along, in fact I hope he kicks her out.

Surely it would have done Saul no harm to have added "But she did all of these actions in her pursuit to prevent another 9/11. She blamed herself. Still does."

Ok so it would have been a small white lie.. Saul knows it was deeper than that. But at least it would have repaired some of the damage he was about to do to her.

Carrie's "Brody was your operation" in the middle of a restaurant was amusing. Surely she's not that stupid.

Just when i thought it couldn't shock me Saul throws Carrie under the bus! What an ending.

Saul is going to be amazing this season. The one person i don't trust is Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham), the right hand man to Saul. I wonder if it's really him leaking all the Carrie stuff to the press. Think he could be a whole lotta trouble for everyone involved. He seems like a shady character.”

I think its saul that's responsible for the leaks

Is she his wife though? I can't remember if they're married or not.

They seem to have one of most strangest relationships ever. I don't quite understand how it works. I also don't trust her either.

I think they have been married for over twenty years but she previously complained that their relationship lacked passion and they were more like companions who knew each other well rather than a married couple.

So far, this 2nd episode is dull as ditchwater - and if I wanted a teen angst drama, I'd watch Hollyoaks!

Carrie needs to go back on the meds her swearing is very unladylike.

Dana pregnancy story?

Saul really is turning into an utter bar steward, first Carrie, now that poor analyst.

The show has had an obvious dip in quality, but Dana is just making it even worse. I bet the son is happy Brody left for a few episodes; he actually has lines this season.

Claire Danes and Rupert Friend are making this season (and made last season) slightly better. Mandy Patinkin, too, but I don't like the direction his character is going.

Think Quinn should have a wee word with the banker.

Going off topic but isn't the analyst, Fara, played by an actress who was being vetted by Scientologists at one point to be Tom Cruises wife? She's very pretty.

Think it's appalling the way she's spoken to. Just because she wears a scarf (of sorts). I mean, Roya was a Muslim who turned out to be a terrorist but because she dressed in a way to "fit in", she was treated well. Fara works for the CIA and is treated appallingly .

So much of this episode just feels like filler, it feels very empty without Brody involved.

There was a "minor" event that occurred between Roya being around and the 8 days Fara has been working for the CIA, that makes all the difference.

She isn't responsible for the bomb she's there to help find those responsible so why treat her like that? They're all on the same "side".

They don't know she isn't responsible. They blame Brody and believe that she had an affair with him so must know something.

That was boring. We had about 5 minutes of actually trying to get to the bottom of the attack. 10 mins of Carries issues and the rest spent on a brat and a family no one is interested in. Better start getting a bit more C.I.A than T.O.W.I.E.

Any chance something might happen this series ?

Not interested in Dana.

Think they are talking about the Muslim girl not Carrie.

They don't know what she is there for.

Because she is personally associated to Brody. Once that gets revealed then it's the end of the CIA (and the end to the high level mole inside the CIA *cough*), so Saul has to sell her out for damage control.

As mad as Homeland is at times, it does a pretty good job of accurately portraying the lack of trust various government depts have for the CIA in real life after 9/11 and Iraq

The show is just so unengaging nowadays. The actual Iran plot (or shall I say subplot because it almost seems that the Dana storyline has the dominance here) is fine, but I just think the show went in a completely wrong direction. It's time to pull the plug on this show.
