I like crazy Carrie. It's worth it just to watch her eyeballs almost popping out of their sockets.Just a tad too much Dana teen angst at the moment.but the yanks probably love all that.

I agree that he's very watchable and the actor plays the part extremely well, however I have a problem with the way the writers seem to have decided to turn him into some sort of cartoon James Bond with a conscience, it doesn't feel at all real.
Cartoon James Bond? Doesn't feel real? What makes it real for me is that a person who essentially works for the CIA executing people at some point would be getting tired of doing that job. He killed a young boy in this latest mission. If I recall from last season, we learned that Quinn has a child (I believe a son) and that has to truly weigh on him. So I do believe that someone like Quinn can develop a conscience. A person like Quinn can burn out.

Even then she was wrong about Brody in some respects. He did more than he let on eg killing of VP.
I find it very hard to believe that neither the media nor the CIA have figured out his involvement in the VP's death. Surely as soon as Brody was identified as the chief suspect in the bombing, they would have been looking at everything in his past and it wouldn't take long to realise that he was present when the VP died and unlikely to be a coincidence. If they have figured it out, it hasn't been mentioned that they have.

Did I miss anything in the last minute or so?

Our Virgin Box has got this annoying habit of thinking programmes have ended when there is still a minute or two to run. Saul visits Carrie in hospital and.......

Anyone??

Same thing happened here but i managed to rewind C4 for the last 10 seconds of dialogue - in short, you missed nothing other than Carrie telling Saul to f-off.

She tells him, in a drug induced slurry state, to 'F*** you'.

Seriously I sincerely hope that's it for the Dana sub plot now. Why can't they just leave her in the background like the son!

Agreed. At least when Brodys wife was shagging his best mate (where is he btw?!) it was related to the story line somewhat but now we have to watch the daughter shagging too?!

It just feels like a tick box exercise which is normally the sign a show has gone well past it's sell by date. They are repeating all the familiar themes.

The only good character left is Peter Quinn who I think they should borrow to 24 to fight along side Jack Bauer. That would be awesome.

The brother just seems the most pointless character there now, he just stands around looking confused for the time that he is on screen.

Remind me again what is the point of the brother here? At least the sister had her cut wrists and teen romance bit to stay kind of relevant, but the brother??
The Brodys are supposed to be a 'normal' family, & most people have 2 children.....

Well just give him something, as at the moment, he might as well not exist, as he contributes nothing at the moment.

Here are my thoughts
The boy Dana met in therapy is a plant to find out if Brody is in touch with Dana.
Saul has toughened up even during this episode, he is now in charge, he did not get the reconciliation with his wife he thought was going to happen and it was after that he gave the order to carry out the assassinations, signalling a new ruthlessness.

Saul really had no choice but to confirm Carrie was sleeping with Brodie as in series 2 they got her to cosy up to Brody and they had them under surveillance and the whole team including Quinn heard them shagging.

Who is left who could have moved the car?

How much tequila can Carrie drink?

I hope Saul's wife goes back to India and leaves him in peace instead of stringing him along, in fact I hope he kicks her out.
That is an interesting point - it hadn't crossed my mind, but now you mention it..... The only thing is though, the 'boy' would have to be a guy of about 25 who looks young, as a child wouldn't be used for these purposes; also I sincerely hope he used a condom......

Funny you should mention that, I've got Virgin and Sky at the moment but was surprised to switch from Tivo to Sky to notice that Virgin C4 seemed to be at least a minute ahead, I assumed I had Sky on delay but no, never seen that before.

Interestingly enough, Wikipedia says the actor who plays Leo is 25!

Didn't look like it to me. But then again when did you last see someone on TV in a sex scene practice safe sex. He didn't even ask her if she was on anything. Would have got in the way of the "passion" I guess.

I usually watch Homeland live so there's never a problem. Last night we were catching up with some things we had missed on Saturday so it was 20 minutes in when I started watching.

Most of the time there's not an issue but we series record Whitechapel and it used to do it at the end of every episode.

Only on HD at the minute as we keep looking at Tivo but never getting round to it.

Good to know I didn't miss anything!

So far I've enjoyed the latest episodes but it's hard going with Carrie getting crazier and crazier though. I think she does it well and certainly looks panic stricken most of the time as I'm sure she would be feeling a real sense of paranoia by now - and quite understandably so.

<- Carrie's expressions during the show!

I pray the CIA are better organised than what they are being portrayed.

They can carry out covert operations around the world, have specialists who can trace money transfers between numerous overseas financial institutions but at the same time appear to be lacking CCTV around their own HQ car park where anyone is able to move a car to any random spot around the building.

Yes that bothered me too.

You'd have thought they'd have an off site server for saving the video footage.

But it was made to look like he died from a heart attack - ie natural causes. That was the whole point. He was known to have a heart problem having a pacemaker fitted. So why would the CIA suspect Brody of being implicated as he got in and out of the Senator's office without being spotted? There was no reason to even suspect foul play.

I know there was no reason to suspect him at the time! What I mean is, once he was named as the chief suspect in the bombing, the media would all put together all the information there was about him and they would be bound to notice that he was present when the VP died and then they would ask questions.

No. Not really. But they are building upto a Big Bad this season by the name of Javadi who's linked to Abu Nazir.
