I was really looking forward to this new series of Homeland after such a good first series, but I am so bored by the first 2 episodes I don't think I'll bother watching any further ones.

Who really wants to watch an under age girl lose her innocence on screen? And the overuse of the F word is just ridiculous.

..I thought she said she re-tiled it herself with the help of a book.
She did say that and looking at it I don't know why they are so broke. She could make a living as a tiler

Don't judge it until next week, when someone very significant returns.

I've just rewatched that bit, and she said, "The blood wouldn't come out of the grout so I had to replace everything." I suppose it depends what she meant by "everything", but I can't be bothered to look for a picture of what it was like before and what it's like now to check!

I agree, the show at the moment has an utter lack of direction or drive.

I really can't care about the 'chase the money' plot of them trying to track down faceless random people.

And having half the show on Dana DEAR GOD. Has there ever been a more whiny, unlikeable brat on tv?

well i'm loving it so far. thought last sundays was tremendous.
i love the balance between plot development and character study. that's what's always appealed to me in this show. but that may just be me...or others like me

To be fair, the end of the second episode did give a teaser of the next episode showing a certain character returning with very short hair.

Did it? I didn't see one. But maybe I switched over before they showed it? I didn't think Ch 4 usually showed "next time" teasers for this series, though?

yeah , why can't they get back to nice storylines like war , torture , suicide and madness ?

I assumed she had just re-grouted. Not an expensive, though time-consuming, job.

I'm enjoying it so far, but that's down to Clare.

I had a bit of a Homeland marathon to get up to speed for S3 so may have missed something but why isn’t Quinn showing any remorse for failing to kill Brody in S2?

It seemed ridiculous that he didn’t kill him, given how the character was set up as being ‘reliable’ and then revealed to be a black ops agent. I assumed his failure to kill Brody and his ensuing guilt would be his storyline for S3. However, Quinn seems completely unaffected. I can’t understand this unless Saul and Quinn don’t believe Brody was (or know he wasn’t) involved in the CIA bombing?

Agree with the other comments about Dana. I had the TV on mute during her scenes! I’m just waiting for Chris to finally explode, which has to happen because he’s just too sane!!

Yes!! I thought this was a major oversight! Quinn disobeyed his orders to kill Brody at the cabin, while he had the chance. No one has mentioned it especially in light of the Langley bomb, which they think Brody is responsible for (who knows?) so you'd think Quinn would be punished for failing to prevent it.

Sure she'd want it done, but she's supposed to be broke & bathroom suites are expensive.
Perhaps that has led to her being broke, perhaps that was the last expensive thing that she bought/had done?
I think she said in ep.2 that all she did was retile and that she did it herself.
I thought she said that she replaced everything but she did it herself.

I bet the writers didn't realize the bathroom tiling would be such a talking point.

actually...someone did mentioned it... Estes did (David Harewood rather) to the journalists post finale

Beside, Quinn believes that Carrie is always right

I thought the doctor was brilliant. The show needs more characters like him and less of Dana.

Very hard to assess this girl's age - is she the Venezuelan guy's daughter, or his partner?
