I like that Brody hasn't played a part in the drama so far. I honestly don't know where they can take his story, though it's convienent that he is held up in a gangster's cell. I don't see where he would fit in at the moment. I think a time will come when he can begin proving his innocent, but as it is, I like the time spent on Saul, Quinn and Carrie so far.

When that girl turned up at the door my first thought was that it was the daughter of the woman that Dana and Finn accidentally killed last season.

That murder scene was on Red Wedding levels of brutality.

Great episode (apart from Dana's part).

And although I like Brody, I think the series is working well without him, especially as the storyline is taking shape now.

Something I still don't understand is how the CIA identified Javadi, and the six people they assassinated, as being behind the Langley bombing. Especially, as they were so convinced that Brody was behind it after seeing his video.

The CIA knew that video was from before, from his attempt to blow up the Vice-President, so they like the rest of us assumed he was being set up.

Yeah I know but I meant that I think it went downhill in general a long time ago - as in circa season 2. Saying that, last night's ep was a good'un.

I'm enjoying this series so far, even without Brody, and, hopefully, we won't see so much of whingeing Dana. I think it's much better than Series 2 and I'm finding it very involving ... even if I did get a bit confused as to who was who and who had done what to whom last night! Please excuse if I got the who and whom mixed up - always find that confusing!

It's a shame the episodes are so short. By the time you take away 20 minutes of Christmas ads and 10 minutes of Dana whinging, there's only only about 35 minutes left!

I wonder if the advertisers realised their chintzy, sentimental Christmas ads would be appearing before/after a woman being glassed in the neck with a broken bottle!

That seems unlikely. Wasn't the mole within the CIA? Lockhart's only classified insights into the CIA have come since he headed up the Senate committee post-12/12. There's no evidence he had any access to privileged information before then - he's only a senator after all, not the President or one of his inner circle such as his National Security Advisor.

When Javadi is being bought into the interrogation room, she has the exasperated yet worried look (like a daughter to a father) on her face.

When she tells Saul that the address belonged to a Javadi...she had a knowing look.

Farah is probably an iranian mole....and Saul knows it because he put her there. Saul is the biggest mole in this whole saga....going through the motions of preventing the bombings when he actually is running the bombing campaign.

What's the timeline with her pregnancy. The Langley bombing was in December IIRC and it's March now, according to the conversation with Javadi during the lie detector scene. So she about three months into her pregnancy. Assuming Brody is the Dad.

I think judging by Carrie's drawerful of pregnancy test sticks that she must test after each sexual encounter with different men . Or maybe does daily checks as suggested to hit on the correct man who impregnated her.

No way in a fit mental state to become a mother anyway . Her agitiation is palpable now .

So Saul and Carrie plotted this sting to get her in front of the bad guy and turn him way before they knew who planted the bomb, way before they knew about the money, way before they identified the bad guy and way before they had any dirt to turn him with?

I've always thought something's not right with Farah. If she is a mole, (only on UK pace so I don't know) then it's a bit too obvious I.e I wouldnt be surprised.

Plus what was the point in thge mum (or mom) giving her the card without telling her the pin code? Without that it is pretty much useless!

It's not standard practice in the States for credit cards to use Chip and PIN technology.

I came on here to see if it was worth starting to watch again, but there doesn't seem to be anything here that motivates me to start up again. I've seen 4 episodes of season 3 and sacked it off. It has out-stayed its welcome and is a different show to the quality it served up in season 1 and to a lesser extent, season 2.
