That was ridiculous!
If he had still been there he could have just shot her. What was the use in her arming herself with a metal bar? Very silly episode! |

Carrie was so noisy she may as well have shouted "I'm coming to get you"

I didn't watch Series 1 - does the sleeping child shown at the beginning and end of the ad breaks have any particular significance?

this is getting silly now. pacemakers, weak hearts, serial numbers.
you get the impression the writers are making it up as they go along. ![]() http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/12/bu...web.html?_r=2& |

Why didn't Carrie warn them about what Brody was going to do? She didn't need to spend time explaining the details, just tell them to stop him.

I liked the ending obviously Estes is pissed off with Saul for uncovering Quinn, so before he can dig into their shady roles I think he is going to be set up as a mole.
Carrie is still doing my nut in with her lone wolf idiocy. Have to wiki pacemakers, seems a strange system to me, if a good hacker got into their system half o the attendees at my local Bingo could be keeling over. |

But did she know the significance of the code number? Did she even know that whatever was going to happen was going to happen straightaway?

she appears so more concerned about saving brody than anything else or did she fall for AN too? |

There was a documentary on ITV last week on the footballer Fabrice Muamba. After his heart attack on the field, he was fitted with a pacemaker of some kind. It sends information to his doctor regularly on the state of his heart, and he joked how the doctor phones him form time to time to check what he is doing if the rate goes to abnormal. The doctor in a separate interview also said using that info they are able to re-calibrate the device remotely if they need to. |

I can only think that Carrie is more interested in protecting Brody than she is in protecting the VP. And the same goes for Estes more generally, since he never warned the VP about Brody in the past.

Interesting stuff, cheers, I'm sure if the doctor can re-calibrate remotely they would only be able to do it within strict limits. Anyhow I quite enjoyed it tonight except Carrie and here weekly Homer Doh moment.

A surprising episode - I thought the whole thing with the TV gear last week was a set-up, but seemingly it was genuine. I did jump when the car hit Cary, even though it was the typical setup for something happening. God only knows what the third series will bring, given what was blown in this episode. And that's before the finale! |

1. Brody acted under duress in order to save her life so ungrateful to 'shop' him 2. could she get him stopped without him getting shot or harmed? 3. she cares more for him personally than the VP 4. VP is a nasty piece of work anyway 5. better story development if Estes is no longer fast-tracked by VP and we still don't know his motivation |

I don't want to venture into the US thread for fear of spoilers but...
Can someone tell me how far ahead the US are in terms of Homeland shows? We're off out there this week and I want to carry on watching but am afraid I'll miss some episodes. Any ideas? |

They're a week ahead. Penultimate last night, final next Sunday.
No repeats of the penultimate episode anywhere on US networks later this week? (Bearing in mind I'm there from Thursday night onwards) Then I might be able to watch the finale on Sunday. *excited face* |

Also,Sunday 16th morning at 3am and 8pm on Showtime (so you could watch both the last two on the same evening!!). http://www.sho.com/sho/schedules/index# |
