It's on the premium cable channel Showtime.

A quick look sees episode 11 on Showtime 2 on Friday at 10pm and Saturday at 11pm.

Also,Sunday 16th morning at 3am and 8pm on Showtime (so you could watch both the last two on the same evening!!).

Thanks! Now to see if we have Showtime (2) at our holiday home...!

Yes, episode 11 is a normal length one but episode 12 (on channel 4 on Sunday 23rd) is an extra-long one, 90 minutes long (including ads).

That was because they showed it months after the US. We are a week behind now so it won't be shown before the US.

Another episode with the usual plot holes.

So now all of sudden they recognize Nazir even with his new cut. I presume he changed appearance so he could enter the country with a false passport.

I hope next season they make Dana smile as I don't another season of her having a teenage strop is helpful to character development.

It's amusing that they know Brody has contact with Nazir but don't seem to monitor or intercept his calls.

If the CIA was actually that inept it would be a waste of funds.

one must assume he had two phones only one was wired...but really

...and not to mention his shouting naaaazzziiirrrrrr both in the posh safe house just few steps away from security and in the veep home office

considering that he dos not get caught they could have done it a bit more subtle

Next week's is 50 minutes running time and the finale 63m.

An extra 13m but it'll have five ad breaks rather than the usual three. Sky+ it and start watching about 9.25pm is the best bet!!

Hmm - its all getting a bit 24 for me now.

Killing someone with a remote control pacemaker.

CIA conspiracy

Carrie disobeying instructions and running back in again - why do they even bother telling her not to now.

That was 4 years ago and I presume since then advanements have been in security.

It also states then the risk is very low

at the end when he's dying the vice president tries to reach for the phone, which is almost comical, you'd think there would be some panic button he has on him, this is supposed to be the vice-president of the united states. seemed to have been worryingly easy to off the 2nd most powerful man in the world. no security guard posted outside the room?

also no cameras in the room? not even one linking to secret service? and surely if it was possible to remote access his pacemaker, you'd have thought they would have bothered to encrypt the signal.

as long as you overlook the obvious plot holes though, its an enjoyable enough romp

The writers must be aware that viewers are looking for plot holes now ? Brody actually getting into tthe VP's office , taking his time going through Walden's things and argueing with Nasir about the serial number never would happen in reality ... would it ?
Still as you say an enjoyable enough romp, I could never not watch it now .

A few things are starting to bug me now. Carrie failing to mention to anyone when she called them that the VP was at risk being the main one. Carrie returning after all Brody did to save her ass being the next thing, and being unarmed too. The CIA guy suddenly reappearing after the same shooting that injured Quinn, when before that all we heard was that he didn't have long to go before he croaked. Saul charging in like a bull in a china shop to Estes when it was so obvious he needed to carry on monitoring Quinn and keep quiet to Estes about what he knew. Not seeing or hearing a word about what's happening to Roya when you would think the first thing they'd be doing after the last ep is interrogating her.

I have a feeling he's the mole actually. I forget his name but i've had a feeling about this since the first series.him or perhaps saul. I'm surprised that so many people have suggested estes. I don't get that vibe from him at all.

As for brody getting into the vice-presidents room, that in itself is not so surprising, given he was so close to the v.p., but what is more hard to believe is the lax security in general, surely with such an important figure there would be some sort of secret service agents always within his immediate vicinity, regardless of the company he was in? especially as he's had heart problems in the past?

I suppose you have to have to suspend belief at times. if it skirted too close to reality it could become quite boring.

That reminded me of something else. Estes agreed to a lunch date with Roya, but nothing more was ever said about it.
I agree about having to suspend belief at times, but what I dislike is sloppy writing. Series one was tightly drawn, but this one has plot holes all over.

actually I was thinking that myself earlier. although some of these stories I think the writers have just forgotten ( or probably each episode has been written by a different set of writers.)

the first series was infinitely superior to this mess.

I suspect quite a few scenes end up on the cutting room floor (in order to make an episode fit an allocated time slot) which might explain why there is sometimes a lack of continuity/forgotten storlines. Even this week's episode seemed to end abruptly as if they just ran out of time.

Brody assumes the VP will die, I wouldn't be so sure, there's probably a cardiologist in the vicinity, Brody is going to be in so much trouble (he should've just left it at "I'm quitting politics for my family").

Not sure if i am just confused but there was another guy in the shadows towards the end of the episode after Brody talks to AN on the phone. He is in the same room as AN and the computer hacker person. You only see his silhouette in front of a large extractor fan (i think). Is this something obvious? From the framing i get the impression he is not just another bod.

Actually, what makes Homeland unusual is that not all of the episodes are the same length so they aren't so constrained by time as other shows.

I can't find the times for S2 but these are the lengths of the S1 episodes: http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...&postcount=343

This! We have no proof he's dead. We have no proof AN actually wanted him dead. If this is just a "look what we can do, infidel" warning shot, it leaves Brody in a hole.

Then again, doing that burns Brody as a potential source for AN. Thus killing off the show....
