Series 4 is definitely my favorite now. A lot of interesting characters. Somehow, I think that Homeland is so much better after Brody died. I don't miss Brody's family either.

The best addition by far has been Khan, Tasneem, Art Malik and Aayan

WOW. Great Episode. I think they may be channelling the Libyan Embassy fiasco with this one.
So far Tasneem is the star of the series for me, she just oozes sinister intentions and duplicity. |

The Ambassador, whatever her name is, is by far the best addition!

Still Not sure why the the US Embassy in a particularly dangerous country will have an un manned drainage grille that allows entrance and exit by anyone.

It was Thanksgiving in the US - a time when people allegedly visit family and friends and socialise rather than watch TV
So a lot of TV networks drop their flagship series, rather than suffer reduced ratings And yeah...if the latest episode hasn't been aired in the States yet, you won't be getting it over here ![]() |

If the ending of last nights show happened in real life, that would no doubt be seen as a declaration of war I think and it would not be wise for any country to allow such a double cross like that to take place.
What a stupid decision it was to send all the Marine's out though. It occured to me within seconds that they ere leaving themselves wide open to an attack by sending the Marines out and that could have been the real/main intention of the attack on the convoy. Saul was a right idiot too with the way he was being. |

The inevitable showdown between carrie and tasneem will be great.
Was thinking that Quinn would take over Carrie's position? Although I really hope Carrie and Saul survive. |

Agreed, am loving this series far more than previous 2. However I feel Quinn is underused at the moment.
to see more of him next episode (which I can't wait for) |

Oh, I just assumed the whole convoy was wiped out. It looked like a complete fireball.

We watched it last night (recorded), come the end we were like oh no we've got to wait 6 days to find out what happens next! Gripping stuff, people who stopped watching because of there being no Brody are really missing out.

Finally season 4 has kicked into high gear, the best episode since season 2 and one of the best in the entire collection. Still not a patch on season 1 but hopefully the next 3 episodes will remain this good.

Rewatching that episode again I have it on good authority, Hawkeye actually , that Carrie and Saul were in the 2nd car which wasn't hit directly , the General , Khan and Tasneem are out of the picture then now?

First para....lol
Now read about Benghazi....2012.......ambassador of USA killed by Al Quaida affiliates in Libya.....where was the declaration of war?.. If the ISI were dumb enough to do a double cross like that in real life, then the Americans would either give Pakistan a right spanking or they would want the double crossers handed over. Your analogy on Libya is not comparable at all as errr Libya is in a state of civil war and no Goverment controls the country properly there at all. Having said that it seems no Civil democratic elected Government can fully control the Pakistan Army and the ISI either and even Zia Ul Huq the Military leader couldn't as he too was killed along with 16 of his Top Generals almost certainly on an inside job but maybe by just 1 person on the inside with collaberation from another country I think...... |
