Holy Motors - 7/10. Latest work of Leos Carax's about a mysterious man being chauffeured around Paris in a day, completing different kinds of "tasks". A WEIRD film, I must say, yet captivating.
In the House (Dans La Maison) 6.5/10. Much better than the hot mess Potiche. But still, the ending ruined the tempo of the film. |

The Mist 6.5/10
Creature feature based on a Stephen King short story, 'starring' various members of the cast of The Walking Dead. |

Fast Five 7/10
What you would expect from the franchise. Very fun high octane amusement. Ruined slightly though when I saw Gal Gadot in a Bikini. Man she makes Runway models look fat! Kept me distracted through the rest of the film wondering if she was going to spend her money on actually eating some food and look less like skeleton with flesh. |

Men in Black 3 - 5/10
Equally as "meh" as the other 2. Josh Brolin makes a great Tommy Lee Jones though. |

Tower Heist. Quite good, but I kept picturing Donkey every time Eddie Murphy opened his mouth!

It's a Free World... [2007]. Director: Ken Loach
7/10 Single mum starts a recruitment agency for immigrant workers and gets involved in dodgy dealings. Not as hard-hitting as Loach's best, nor as funny. |

I've watched 4 films this weekend...that's more than the rest of the year put together I think! I'm not usually into watching films, but I'm liking watching films at the moment.
This weekend I've seen: Kindergarten Cop It's A Wonderful Life (for the first time) Dirty Dancing (for the first time) Superman III |

).
). The only real nitpick I have is the fact that just after the device goes off the explosion can be seen in the skies from several points around the Earth, India and the US! I was under the impression that the Earth was round!
