The Adventures of Tintin - 9/10

It was a real surprise, as I have always hated Tintin.. but it was really really good. It look amazing and was proper exciting. Kids loved it too.

Oblivion (2013)

This film had good cinematography and soundtrack and, despite what certain critics said, it had a coherent storyline*. The acting was fine too and whilst this film isn't a sci-fi classic, it was nevertheless good entertainment and it'll be worth watching on TV and DVD/blu ray.

Spoiler

Verdict = 7/10

CYRUS - 7half/10

a real curio, wasn't expecting it to be filmed in a pseudo-documentary style, making it kinda awkward ..... but that's probably why they did it that way!

STEP BROTHERS - 9/10

bampot comedy that i was laughing out loud too, harks back to the olden screwball comedies ..... but with more violence and teabagging

Dead Man Down....6½/10
Memorable moment: Colin Farrell hoovering.

Dominic Cooper was surprisingly very good, for the part he played.

I've just watched (most of) Gulliver's Travels with Jack Black on C4.

I quite liked it, it seems to be universally disliked! But then I love Jack Black.

Anyway, I give it a 6.5/10 - not amazing, but quite fun!

The Amazing Spiderman. 5/10. Can't say I was keen, think I preferred the Tobey Maguire version.

GULLIVERS TRAVELS - 6/10

basically jack black mugging you onscreen for ninety minutes

pretty decent effort, but since it's so short it doesn't give time to him being in brobdingnag, instead focusing on lilliput
