Tulisa's album ''The Female Boss'' was released earlier today, we caught up with Tulisa for her views on all things X-Factor, her album and love life.

Asked if she thought she'd top the album charts, Tulisa said ''I am not worried about that, i have made music i like that i enjoy, maybe it is too urban to reach number 1''

It's not because she's 'urban', it's because she's shit.

This "too urban" excuses this chavette brings up are ridiculous. Her album is full of autotune, cheap, generic dance tracks and monotone ballads not urban at all. The album is shit so is she.

I've always liked Tulisa, but I wish she'd stop referencing urban at every opportunity. It's really starting to grate, and comes across as a superiority complex; only urban is cool and relevant, and all other genres are beneath it.

When she's older and has a family she'll look back at this elitism, especially in a genre where the music tends to be transitory and is swiftly forgotten, and realise how pretentious it made her sound.

Ironically the song on last night's X Factor was a straightforward pop song and enjoyably catchy enough. I just wish she would learn to separate out the words and sing "...please come back" instead of what sounded like "...please scumbag".

In other words, they know it isn't selling well, and they are doing damage limitation already.

Is "urban" the new word for "eyewateringly chavvy", by the way? It certainly seems like it.

YOUNG is actually a great pop song, she looks great in the video, etc..... but how the hell can she claim to be urban after that?

She is just rubbish. I laughed so hard when she mimed to the backing track on X Factor because she doesn't actually have a head voice. She only sings in one strained shouting register and it sounds dreadful. Especially on a ballad.

I don't know why she's running around saying urban everywhere when her album is just full of pop dance crap that isn't even backed up by strong vocals. She should be ashamed to call herself "urban" when her only success as a solo artist has been with a dance track.

I listened to her album on Youtube and it's horrendous. British Swag (lmao at that title) made me laugh for all the wrong reasons. This chick tries....

Urban? Think she lost those roots by joining X Factor and certainly after doing another year £££.

She needs to think of a better excuse. Like Cole found, once your own talent is 'questioned' its down hill, especially after sitting there telling far more capable singers and performers where they are lacking.

Your harsh on her but she is making herself hard to like.

All this ''urban'' excuse isnt working. If your not super talented she needs to be very likeable otherwise her career in music won't last sadly.

Someone please give that girl a reality check.

Her album might not get to number 1 because it is quite possibly not as good as she thinks it is; nothing to do with 'urban'!

You're never going to like her album though.

1. You dislike Tulisa
2. You do not like urban music.

So really it's not fruitful to listen to it and say ''It's horrendous'' Of course you will think that.

But to people who appreciate this type of music, it is a world class album, perhaps it is album of the year so far

Well, Hampstead is certainly part of London, which is indeed a city, which makes her 'urban'.

Not quite as urban as Nick Clegg though - he went to an inner city school: Westminster.

And how can it be too urban when people like Jay Z, Beyonce, Neyo Kayne and Rhianna all far more urban than little miss stroppy pants have had no1 albums?
