The term urban covers quite a broad genre of music. I like quite a few hip hop, R& B, soul etc. however I have never liked Ndubz and didnt enjoy tulissa's song yesterday on X factor but each to their own. It wouldn't do if we were all the same would it?
Thre was an article I read today where tulissa is full of love and admiration for Simon and how she wants to come back for a third year on X factor. I find that quite funny as I didn't think that very urban either

LOL, her new album is not urban barring a couple of songs, its a pop album so she cant roll out those kinds of excuses.
I'm afraid it won't make number 1 because she actually can't sing. I didn't realise that until I saw her perform this weekend. Ouch. Somebody should tell her, she was actually embarassing! Who on earth would buy that stuff?

I probably wouldn't buy her album as it's not exactly my cup of tea. I don't think she's as terrible as everyone makes her out to be though.
This is so funny, I always thought she was awful but of course I was wrong and all the "urbanites" were cool.
She is so bad on X Factor, is it because urban is not as popular as she pretends or is it she has sold out for megabucks to the Cowell machine.
I am loving her fall out of favour because she has bigged herself up, has behaved atrociously and always acted the victim and then judged others who leave her standing in musicality, voice and dress.
Still, her millions will keep her and her boyfriend of the moment in hoodies for the foreseeable future and Simon will do the right thing and send her back to her roots.

She is not Urban in the slightest. She is dance-pop. It's like saying Sophie Ellis Bexter is an Indie act because she was originally in an indie band.

'Urban' isn't even a genre. It's such a broad sweeping term that it's practically meaningless. Especially as it includes most types of music that actually do tend to get to number one.
Does she think that the number one spot is going to be taken by a Country and Western album or something?
My favourite music is rock and hard rock, I just feel that Tulisa bashes on about urban music over an over and over, when she is clearly not urban.

I think someone needs to buy Tulisa a dictionary for Christmas, so she can look up the meaning of Urban, they might need to underline and highlight it first, so its easy for her to find.
