Vino Alan: Yes, this was absolutely perfect for you Vino, it sort of addressed the two main problems that I had with you last week, the first being the lack of soul in last week's song and the second being it all feeling a tiny bit boring, this wasn't a massive change in direction but the song choice permitted you to show off your husky rock edge but didn't conceal your soulful tone, it was a great song choice, possibly your best to date, well done Vino!

Hmmmm Vino that was a pretty good performance. I think it was pretty obvious that you would sing in this category but I would have loved for your mentor to have really challenged you to sing something completely out of your comfort zone. You are good at what you do in this genre but I now wanna see if you are versatile enough for the remainder of the competition. |

Vino, so far, you have been a major darkhorse and at times, a contender. But tonight however, I'm not sure what's happened because I wasn't keen on that song choice, even though this is what you excel at so well. I think some of parts were too low and it kinda made it a bit dull. This was a huge step-back from a few weeks ago and I'm disappointed with you, Vino.

I am pleasantly surprised. Last week’s rock number as you know I wasn’t overly impressed by but this one I am not that impressed with this either. Overall it just felt rock for you in my opinion and the rocky nature of your songs need to stop because soul is more your genre than this. Vino Alan I am trying to figure out what two of the other mentors are thinking! This suited you and your soul edge perfectly! After last week’s stellar performance we really needed something that could set that bar just as high as that one and damn did we find it! You and the poets are literally the perfect match! You both have this soulful voice with a great rock edge and it is shown so well in this performance. I mean so far in this competition you’ve just been going I am Vino Alan and this is what I am capable of. You just each week amaze me and I couldn’t be happier with you tonight. Fantastic! |

Mixed comments for Vino Alan, will the public agree with Kev, with Soppyfan or will they have a whole other opinion?
We've only seen two different genre gurus so far, so it's high time to bring out a third one. With a song picked for them by their mentor Kev and Soul, Jazz & Blues guru Alexos, it's Mrs. Greenbird singing 'Black' by Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi feat. Norah Jones [Soul, Jazz & Blues] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3yAx2uCoHs Note: Imagine male vocals with that husky tone on this song as there are no male covers.

Mrs. Greenbird: Hands up who predicted that Mrs. Greenbird would be singing a blues/soul song? Yes, I decided to go slightly out of the normal line for you and choose something that showcases Sarah's vocals a bit more, in order to hopefully address the concerns raised by Jakk in last week's show, I think you did a stonking amazing job, Sarah and Steffen, it was a totally brilliant performance and you harmonized so well, I was really proud and I'm so pleased, great job guys!

Mrs. Greenbird
This was another good performance for you guys and I am really happy the female part of the group got to show off their vocals more! Your mentor seems to know exactly what he’s doing with you guys and what style to go with you as well. I do have one slight criticism that this performance wasn’t at the same standard as your other performances. All your other performances I have gone wow these guys are serious contenders and could win it but tonight it just felt a bit lack luster compared to your other performances. Still this was a great performance because you vocals still shined throughout and I do think you’ll be safe not matter what because this performance, though its not your best, it is still at a higher standard than some other contestants at the moment in the competition because so far you have excelled each week. |

Guys, I think your mentor is clearly working very hard with you as he seems to go all out every week to find good song choices. Last week guys I loved you but with this song choice I wasn’t a huge fan tonight. Vocally it was a good performance but I personally wasn’t a fan of the song but I will vote based upon your vocal performance tonight guys. |

Mrs. Greenbird
Well guys, last week was a big turnaround for you, so I was expecting you to do more of the same, if not even better. So I'm a bit surprised tonight, because that was not the best song choice for you. It just didn't work for me and I think you could well be in trouble after that performance.

Soppyfan is certainly not holding back with his comments tonight, but will the public agree with what he said or will Mrs. Greenbird shoot straight to the top after that performance?
Aye Kev, I'll post your comments from now on. And with that little detour to the Soul, Jazz & Blues end of the spectrum, let's return to the Rock & Alternative side of things again. He's been through a lot lately, from the bottom 2 to switching mentors, but here he is again performing live on this very stage. The act I'm talking about is of course Morten Benjamin singing 'Just Like Heaven' by The Cure [Alternative & Rock] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y84cvGzdnyE |

Well well well Morten, you know how to put on a performance don’t you. You really gave that stacks tonight, but I wasn’t a fan of the song itself. You did well given the song choice tonight in my opinion. I hope the public preferred this performance more than I did. |

Morten, that was totally brilliant from you, my man! And Stephen, you better believe it, because this audience was waiting for an upbeat performance all night and finally, we got one! You smashed that song tonight and I now believe that you could be a contender for this competition. I am absolutely proud of you tonight, please vote for Morten!

What was the idea behind this because I honestly don't have a clue? This was totally random for you Morten, I mean, you aren't a britpop singer and this is a rock song with britpop vocals, I really don't know where your mentor was hoping to go, it just felt like such a bizarre song choice and I don't know if you can survive another week with an underwhelming performance, good luck Morten but I just don't know!

NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! Morten this was the definition of a trainwreck! Morten this was just completely not right for you and the cure are definitely not for you and especially this song! You have this fantastic voice and are one of the strongest wildcards left in the competition but that was just not you and was just like watching Lucy Spraggan attempt to sing Opera, it just shouldn’t happen! Morten I am seriously worried about you tonight and I really think you need to do need help because that honestly was just terrible which is a damn shame because I really like you! |

Ouch, those were probably not the kind of comments Soppyfan and Morten were hoping to hear. Will the public support him regardless of what the judges said?
It's time for the over 25s yet again. The next act will be poking her head into a new genre (for her at least), which happens to be Soul, Jazz and Blues. Jack and Alexos have worked very hard on this choice, so please give it up for the amazing Samantha Jade singing 'Desire' by Woman E [Soul, Jazz & Blues] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNZ69_2TxKg |

Sammi that was another great performance from you! I wanted to show a more upbeat side to you tonight which also gave a great chance to show off your vocal ability and your more fun side as well. It worked like a charm, you performed the song you showed everybody what you’re all about and how you can do anything! Sammi I love you and your voice and I really hope the public loved this as much as I do as well! |

Samantha I will be the first to admit I am not a huge fan of your voice but tonight I am slowl starting to get why you are loved so much. I think that song was a great choice from your mentor and the guru. I could actually see you recording a song similar to this and making a hit of it. Well done tonght. |

So unfair that your mentor literally got a song that was so suited to your vocals that it was basically you, it maybe wasn't as soulful as some of your performances on the real show but it was really cool, I liked the quirky urban-dance feel of the song and I don't know how your mentor did it but this was yet again, another relatively faultless performance for the 'Overs' category, that's a full house so far with just one more to come, the stakes are high Jack, you better impress with your fourth Over. |

Samantha, girl! I was a bit worried for you last week, but after that performance...you are definitely back in the race! The song was upbeat, your vocals were on point tonight and you danced and performed like you were a ready-made artist ready for the recording studio! This for me was your best performance to date in all areas, a fantastic job tonight..oh and a nice choice of dress too, babe!

Amazing comments for Samantha Jade, could we be onto a winner here?
Up next, it's the second of the girls with a song from the elusive Mainstream Pop genre. It was a real family reunion as genre guru and former judge Niall and Stephen worked together once more to pick a song for Danielle Penning. The song they've chosen is 'Put Your Hands On Me' by Joss Stone [Mainstream Pop] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h__d0RMFOkQ |

This was edging more towards blues for me Danielle but aside from that, you did a good job tonight I think, it was better than last week and sort of managed to strike a balance between your blues origins and the pop vibe also, without being totally clichéd or out of date, I really enjoyed that from you Daniele and I look forward to seeing more of that style of song from you in the coming weeks. |

Danielle, well that was a smasher of a performance. You are such a sexy sassy performer and this song was the perfect song choice as it allowed you to inject a lot of your personality and sexiness into the performance. I hope everyone loves you as much as I do and will continue to vote for you. |

Danielle, wow! I've gotta hand it to your mentor, that was a brilliant choice of song from your mentor and of course, your guru certainly did his research on you for sure. The performance was upbeat and it was just fantastic to see how you gave it some on stage tonight! This was your best performance so far, just amazing, Danielle! I think Samantha should keep an eye on you for now...

This was a decent song choice for you Danielle. I felt that at quite a few moments in the song you were yelling and not singing the song. However the song did suit you and what you’re capable of and I also think your mentor is doing quite well at the moment with you but I still feel like you haven’t had the moment yet. The moment where we go wow you could win it! I think your mentor though is going to let that moment happen very soon and when it does I will be very happy for you. |
