Mixed but overall positive comments for Danielle, will she make it through to live show five or will tonight be the end of the road for her?

Time to go back to the groups again. You probably weren't expecting them to have a Rock & Alternative song chosen for them by their mentor Kev, but after talking songs with dylanpartyon the song Audio Vixen will be singing tonight is 'Everything Burns' by Anastacia feat. Ben Moody [Rock & Alternative]

Guys, that's a song choice! I absolutely love this song and it was a perfect song choice for you guys. All I can say is keep it up and we will see you in the final.

Another good performance from you guys. Last week was the point where I honestly thought yes you can go far in this and this week didn’t disappoint. The girls gave a decent vocal performance and Ross you did a great job doing your part as well. You seem to be gaining more and more confidence as you go on and I think that if you continue doing these good performances you are going to be here for a long time.

This was a really good performance guys, it was really gritty and emotional but there were hidden depths to it also, I really enjoyed the whole style of the song, what I love about you three is that you take on anything you're given with enthusiasm and put 100% into it, this was another faultless vocal performance from you guys and I'm determined not to lose you anytime soon, all the best in the vote guys, I was really proud!

Hey there guys, that was a really good song choice. and a good performance all round. But it's show four now and I'm not looking for just "good", I want amazing, I want brilliant...and I'm just not getting that from you guys. If you're here next week, you really need to start pulling out all the stops so you can keep up with the others. For now though, you did a good job.

Good comments for Audio Vixen, but as everyone knows that's no guarantee that they will be safe tonight!

Back to the overs one last time! As you know, Jack had to consult each genre guru once, and he decided to shake things up a bit by trying out some Mainstream Pop for Daniel Vengsgaard. After some deliberation with Niall, they picked 'Billie Jean' by Michael Jackson (Chris Cornell Cover) [Mainstream Pop]

Daniel Vensgaard

This week Daniel we need to take a risk. All the other weeks you’ve had an upbeat song that has these big backing tracks that allow you to go around and perform the song to the best of your ability and with this one you got none of that. It was just you with a guitar singing the song with nothing but your voice as the star of the show. You put power, emotion, strength and showed off your amazing vocal ability in that song and you just went for it! Not only did you give your best performance so far, in my opinion I think you gave the best performance of the series so far! Daniel just superb!

Hmmmm Daniel, I thought this was a good performance but for me was a pretty obvious choice of song to go with tonight. I would have much preferred if you had went with a pop song and didn’t sing it in a rock style as I really want you to push your limits and go way outside your comfort zone.

This wasn't amazing Daniel but it was good, I think because I have heard many renditions of that song, I expected something a bit more special and stand-out but what I got was a good cover, if nothing extraordinary however, overall, you did another solid job and I don't think you'll have too many troubles getting through tonight as it was a good performance, just maybe not as great as it could have been, nevertheless, congrats!

Daniel, I've enjoyed all your performances so far, but tonight was definitely not one of your best performances. I was left disappointed, even though the style was totally different to the original. I wasn't really that convinced with the song as a whole and I reckon you may be in trouble tonight, which is a big shame.

A mixed bag of comments for Daniel. Could Jack lose his first act tonight?

It's time for the penultimate performance of the show. She was in the bottom 3 last week, and that really shocked her mentor. Today she's back with a song chosen for her by her mentor Stephen and Soul, Jazz & Blues guru Alexos, it's the amazing Jade Ellis singing 'Stranger' by Jhene Aiko [Soul, Blues & Jazz]

Simply put, I loved this, it was totally different to last week's thankfully and managed to convince me when I should have been critical of you as you were saved over my act, that you still deserve to be here, as long as your mentor can keep doing what he is doing, I think that you're back on track to a great run in this show. Very good performance!

For me Jade this song felt really awkward for me at the start with the beat but that just the song for me. I felt like you have come back from the last week stronger than before and showed us why the public decided to keep you in after last week’s performance. The song may was just as strong as the first two weeks and it was still another good performance by you Jade. I hope you’re safe this week.

Jade what a way to come fighting back after landing in the sing off during the last show. Your voice sounded absolutely perfect on that track. Tonight you brought your sexy style to table and I am so proud of you tonight after that performance and I really hope you get the votes tonight as you deserve to be here for the next show.

Jade, not sure what the other two mentors are saying but that was just fantastic and I'm not just talking about the way you look right now! Tonight, you came on stage and delivered a big performance with that song choice. I wish I could say more but I have nothing but praise for you and the people involved with your performance. Well done tonight, Jade.

Some pretty good comments for Jade, at least way better ones than the comments she got last week. However, the question remains: will the public vote for her tonight?

It's time to close the show. Doing that is the third and final of the wildcards tonight. Soppyfan also spent some time with Niall figuring out what would be a great Mainstream Pop song to give to Sumera Espinel. In the end, they decided to pick a song on the edge of mainstream pop, a great song called 'Bang, Bang, Bang' by Christina Perri [Mainstream Pop]

It was....okay I guess, I feel like your style is more bluesy so if you were going to go down the pop route, something by Sara Bareilles would have been a better choice for you however I cannot be too critical as I thought you did an interesting cover of the song and for me, although you weren't brilliant tonight, you were still very good and I imagine that you will still be here next week.

Sumera, if there was a way to close the show, that was simply it! I had a few ideas for you, but when I talked to Niall, we came out with better ideas and this song came straight into my head and I knew this was the one for you! You absolutely smashed it tonight and I wanna thank Niall for that song suggestion, because that was so amazing for her. For me, this was the performance of the night, Sumera! Outstanding job, girl.

Sumera that is the way to close the show. I thought this was a very good song choice and a performance of extreme control. During the verses you kept the energy to a minimum and then really let go in the chorus. You should be proud tonight.

Sumera after seeing the other two wildcards performances I was worried about you and when I saw Christina Perri I thought that my suspicions had been confirmed but I was actually surprised that I liked it. It wasn't amazing, it wasn't good but it wasn't be either. It was just middle of the road and that is what it feels like with you at the moment because most of your performances have been farely middle of the road

Ladies and gentlemen, that's it! Your top twelve have performed, and it's up to you (the DS public) to decide what happens next.

While there isn't nearly as much pressure as this is only a single elimination, I don't think anyone would like their favorite(s) to have to sing for survival, so vote while you still can to spare them of that terrible fate!

Here's a reminder of the twelve acts that performed tonight:
Spoiler

To vote, please rank all the acts that have performed tonight from 12 to 1, assigning 12 points to your favorite act, all the way down to just 1 point for your least favorite act. Mentors can vote as well, and they CAN vote for their own acts as well. After you've listed and ranked the acts, PM the list to me (EndOfSanity).

The lines will remain open until 21:00, with the results taking place at 21:05 on this thread. That's not the largest voting window in the world, so please start voting right away!

Also, try your prediction skills at our Prediction Game again (details will be posted shortly)!

In addition to voting, please participate in the prediction game. You know the rules by now, judges have to do it and viewers can do it too if they want to.

However
, things will be a little bit different tonight. Instead of predicting the eliminated contestants, you will be guessing which two acts will be in the bottom 2 tonight. This will allow for a maximum of 4 points, which is just one point short of last week's maximum, which is fairer overall.

PM me your predictions, and check back after the results to see the updated scoreboard.

Also, feel free to discuss the show here on this thread while you wait for the results!

Voted...all I can say is that at least my acts are not peaking too early. Unlike some of the other acts.

This is actually very important. As we started with 20 acts, we are only at one third of the competition. That means there will be another eight live shows, all of which need good songs as well.

tbh I don't think we can say an act has "peaked" to early until we see an act who's performed very highly drop massively in there performance the next week and we haven't seen that so far. We've seen a few acts fall in standard but I haven't seen anybody peak to early as of yet
