Okay, I'm going to warn you before saying what the next theme is. The themes for live shows 6, 7 and 8 are all pretty difficult, so the theme you're about to get is the last easy one you're going to get for a while. Please keep this in mind when looking for songs.

All right
, the theme for live show five is actually a variation on a theme I've used in an earlier series of The Mix Factor. That theme was called 'It's In Your Name', where mentors had to pick songs starting with any of the letters in their DS forum usernames. However, that would be too easy for seasoned mentors such as yourselves, so the next theme will be: It's in THEIR name!

Basically, you have to pick a song that starts with either the first letter of their first name or the first letter of their surname. That gives you only 2 letters to work with, but at least there are no restrictions on what artists you can and can't use. Also, covers are allowed.

Have fun with this theme!

Oooh, a nice and challenging theme. I have plenty of choices for Sumera and Jesper for sure.

I believe I said this last time, collaborations are OUT. Genre Gurus was sort of its replacement. Also, Genres Roulette is out as well, but there's one trademark Mix Factor theme that will make a return at some point in the competition.

Aside from battling it out in the main competition, the judges also seem to be fighting over the title of The Mix Factor's top psychic!

Leaderboard so far:
1st - bboy1988 (15) 0
2nd - jackel1234 (11) 0
3rd - unclekevo (10) 0
4th - Soppyfan (6) 0
5th - Lyriccs (2) 0

Again, no change on the leaderboard, although Soppyfan is falling behind slightly and Stephen increased his lead by predicting everything correctly.

Good luck finding songs everyone, the next show is scheduled for Thursday December 6th. We'll start at the usual 18:00 to give voters ample time to vote.

I guess you'll be very interested in the voting stats at the end of the series.

The song list will hopefully be out by tomorrow morning, I'm still waiting on one of the judges to fix a link.

In the meantime
, I've revamped some pages on the website. Feeling nostalgic? Feel free to take a look at the revamped pages of the previous installments of The Mix Factor (don't forget to click the sub pages at the bottom of the page, they've had overhauls too!):
