Netflix on PS3 (UK)

Netflix on PS3 (UK)
any ideas why the netflix app/icon has never appeared on my PS3 (it's all up to date with regards to updates).

i have all the other tv media icons (all UK catchup services), just Netflix never appeared.

Try going tv/video services my channels an get it from there, or may be on the store

it's not in "my channels" or in the store.
apparently it should have just appeared on its own some time ago, but never did.

Did you try logging in to the ps3 with an alternate user name?

Delete iplayer or something else and see if that works...

Just add a new user and log in. Extreme left. Then log back in to your normal user name.

No idea why and no idea if it will work for netflix but it has worked for me in the past to get back missing iplayer etc but that was a while ago and the layout has changed a little since then. Still worth a try though.

Because when you set up a new user for the PS store you enter your location, which can trigger it.

Alternatively, reset all your settings to default. That can work too.

Settings > System Settings > Restore Default Settings.

try adding another user to your ps3 then create a new account when the new account is created sign in under that account
bheck my channels if it has appeared signout of the user you just created then resign in under you old user account it should now appear under my channels
