Don't think so. Someone mentioned Lucy earlier and I had to look up who they were talking about.

I have a freakishly strong memory for past X Factor contestants and can remember pretty much all of them from previous years, so I will.

Normal people, without peculiar memories - probably not so much.

I think James will do well, and possibly Jahmene. Doubt Chris will though!

No. And there's the point. I vote for the person I want to see win come the final weekend. I don't own shares in Sony music. I don't personally know any contestant. I absolutely do not give a shit what any of them do once the tv show is finished.

I agree that Jahmene and James will both have albums out by then. Jahmene will do far better in the Xmas granny market and the MOR market than Chris ever will.

Present tense please. Matt hasn't finished bombing. He's still bombing as we speak! His second album is at #82 after 5 weeks on the chart. Total 5 weekly sales are at 34k OUCH!!!

James definitely will.

Marcus still is

It depends how they are handled. I hope James isn't 'destroyed' by Syco or whoever handles him.

Maybe it is what they call a slow burner.

Nope if I'm honest and having no real favourites this year , no matter what any of them go on to do, i will have forgotten about them the week after the final

Jahmene - No. I think he's just another McElderry and if he wants to stick around even slightly he's going to have to branch out his music career into other areas, like Joe with classical.
James - As Nicole once sang, Don't Hold Your Breath! He may seem very talented, unique, credible etc. now but as we saw with Matt Cardle, once initial "buzz" has fizzled down, he'll leave a lot to be desired, become ignored by his record label who aren't sure what to do with him/what songs to give him/whether to let him write his own etc. and then fade into alternative obscurity, claiming it's for the greater good when all he really wants to do is scream bloody Cowell.
Chris - Baloney. No. He will do nothing.

I doubt it.

Chris will be singing at Butlins/old folks homes to the MOR crowd, Jahmene will be inventing sob stories and wheeling his Mum to any event he gets taken to, and James arthur will trying to sell his boring Leona Lewis type personality to the few who may be interested.

Dont see any of them with a career long term. In fact, Rylan could do better, he seems very at home presenting on ITV Daytime.

Don't know about the other other two, but we will definitely remember James Arthur.

I'll remember them all if they're mentioned, but I won't choose to think about any of them except Melanie Masson. :')

Some may still remember Chris if they haven't got the money for intensive counselling and ECT

Lucy didn't make it to the final. Of course we'll remember the ones we supported. I don't think I'd forget JLS even if they hadn't been so successfuly. I haven't forgotten the lovely Maria who got voted out of the same X Factor that Andy Binman went on to win (he was a bin man, you know), the one that Brenda nearly won but didn't (presumably because she'd never worked in refuse collection).

I must admit I had to think twice when someone mentioned Leon though! I still haven;t got a clue who Olly Murs is, by the way

This is my biggest fear for him. I rather think he'll have at least one hit album though. I wouldn't mind having a hit album! It would certainly make my life easier over all!
