... I enjoyed watching it again to be honest

2012 has been a total washout.Any Talent has left the show its going to be the weakest final ever IMHO and they said nearly the same thing in 2011.

Whether he stays or goes wont make a blind difference to the long term prospects of the winner.
I think another poster summed it up over the weekend Cowell and Co have already written off this year will return in 2013 after a bloodbath.I dont think even Dermot will survive Cowell needs Xfactor UK to work after selling the format all over the world.

What makes me laugh is that the contestants think its one of the best year for talent

They have to say that. Well, firstly, of course they would think it's the best year when they're in it! They also can't admit that X and Y are crap or else they'd risk a backlash from fans of other acts. .
