I've just seen the video for Steve's single and noticed the complete absence of Sharon from the proceedings - you wouldn't even have known she had been involved in X Factor if you hadn't seen any of the programmes!

Yes, she doesn't appear once and I'm sure that must be deliberate.

They even had Louis Walsh in it so she is definitely persona non grata.

i think the video is very cool!! steves best bits are all very funny and interesting! the reason sharon prob wasnt in it was becuase its not really about her is it? i think louis is in it about once, so i dont think we should too much into the fact shes not there!

I wonder if that a decision by simon and steve because she made a farce of the last show or whether sharon has refused to let any footage of her be used in promotion of his single.

Ive seen steves video about 50 times an i still cant stop myself from flicking through all the music channels trying to find it! Its brilliant! I love the way it shows steves whole journey through the show, from the auditions to the final!
On another note, does anyone think its quite similar to Michelle mcmanus's first vid? I think it is, but steves seems better somehow!

What does he do in it?

its basically just clips of him from his first audition to him winning. i think its pretty well done, it looks really smoothe and cool, i didnt like michelles first vid! steves is way better! sure his next one will be better, as it will be a REAL video!

Hi #1steve fan *waves*, welcome to the forum of hysteria, conspiracy theories, bickering and general hostility! For your own protection we advise you to wear your introductory 'L' Plates and tin hat at all times. In case of a mod mauling from the manic G4er's, simply deploy the following line "I love Jon he is well fit", and make a quick exit out of the antagonistic thread in question.

Enjoy your stay and remember, through all the negatives and bickering - we all love each other really.

i think its just sour grapes on steves part. it was sharons opinion so she had every right to say what she thought even if you dont like it.

she was crass and personal and had no right to say what she did. She is the one who is sour.

Can you clarify what was sour grapes on Steve's part?

I'd like to know if you feel that she is entitled to express an opinion of this kind even if, she'd given it to any or all of the other contestants week after week or is it just OK for Steve?

I feel that some of the people who agree with Sharon speaking to Steve in this way, wouldn't be saying the same thing if it was levelled at someone like, say, Verity or if they had a favourite, then to their favourite.

I wondered that too. Whatever the reasons, it's best that we don't see her in his victory video, since she wishes him failure. No point her being in it really.

You are so right. I for one would have found her remarks crass, if she had directed them at any of the nine acts, at such a personal level. That vile woman has no scrupples

Considering the relationship Steve has (or doesn't have!) with Sharon, it would have been fairly stupid to have her in the video as the only part she played in his victory was to (possibly) get him a few "sympathy" votes in the final.

I haven't seen the video in full but it was OK, it reminded me that he seems to be a nice enough bloke really behind all this nonsense we've had over the past couple of weeks. That is all he will ever be for me as I just don't think he's a major talent but clearly enough people do think he's great and it's a shame his victory - however short-lived his success may be - is overshadowed by the judges ... which is probably making the three of them feel like the real winners which is jut daft!

Or he could just as so easily, as he has massives of talent in my eyes, go on to have a very long lived successful music career from here on out This could just be the break Steve needed, and it is really thanks to Simon for believeing in Steve after that first audition, so lucky for us that he did

I thought she was out of order and I do not like Steve. I especially dislike him singing Against All Odds because I have been a Phil Collins fan for the longest times and count seeing him live as one of the best ever. Sorry Steve fans but this sucks and if SC had any faith in him they would have given him something original. A cover on the debut song, that is scraping the bottom of the barrel as far as reality Tv goes
