Which did you prefer?

With them both coming out at a similar time I read a few views and felt that SWATH would be a much better film (a couple of reviews even called MM 'the other Snow White film).

Finally got round to watching SWATH last night and was really disappointed. MM was, in my opinion, far better. It was funny, had a good storyline and was well acted. The same could not be said of SWATH. The special effects were amazing, but much of the acting was terrible.

I wondered if this was just us or if other people felt the same? Are we just not part of the Twilight generation??

I much prefered Snow White and the Huntsman as I think Chris Hemsworth is an amazing actor for such roles as he played in this movie, I felt Kristen Stewart did an ok job but she obviously wasn't correct for the role and thats where the movie's main problems stem from. The ending was bad too which left most people with a bad taste.

The main problem with Mirror Mirror was Julia Roberts, she just dosn't come accross as believable in most roles she plays these days. A lot of people say its because shes too self aware.

I think MM, is more for younger Kids, I watched it with my 9 year old Niece and we both thought it was Great....SWATH, is much more Darker but still Great fun, more for Teens and Adults...better I thought too then MM.

I didn't really enjoy either, but Snow White and the Huntsman was better than MM thanks to Charlize and the music score.

I definitely preferred Mirror Mirror. SWatH took itself too seriously, and I love the song at the end of Mirror Mirror.

Huntsman.... Gave up watching mirror mirror after 45 minutes, totally dire.

Mirror Mirror was dire, the only good thing was that some of the costumes were spectacular.
