Voted. To be honest the show was a bit of a mess tonight, with rule breakers and tactical commentary all over the place.

I hope the public make the right decision tonight, and that they keep the rule breakers in mind when voting (they're not there for nothing!)...

Nothing, just a tag to let the public know that they've broken the rules. Whether the public do something with it is up to them though. On my shows, I've had voters that always put rule breakers at the bottom of their vote *hint*.

Lots of votes coming in and I will admit, this theme was really hard to follow.
My next theme however will be much clearer but it'll be just as challenging.

Sorry I wasn't in for the show. I have never and would never consider being tactical when commenting. I stand by all my comments 100%. For someone to use a so g from about a show or 2 is a bit uncreative but I understand that EoS you wernt on the panel which is why I didn't rank Despina at the bottom of my rankings. Also I think a mentor should check if their act has already covered a song before choosing it. I have been absolutely slammed for this once before and thought that it is fully fair for it to be commented upon. I wanted to use beggin as The Risk's sin off but had to change as I found a cover they had done already. I have been told in the past these shows are to show different sides to acts and choose songs that they have never covered before.

Also how is Cannonball a rule breaker?? Little Mix released it as a single in December last year and is well within the theme

Little Mix released a cover of it as a single. However, that doesn't take away the fact that the original (by Damien Rice) wasn't released in the winter period.

I agree with what you are saying but if I recall no where within the theme reveal did it actually say that the original had to be released in winter, so I took it that as long as the single had been released in winter then it could be used

Okay, I see where you're coming from with your argument, but Soppyfan was talking about "songs released during the winter period". A single does not equal a song. The song Cannonball was released in May (Ireland) or October (UK), regardless of whether another artist released a single of the song during the winter period.

But this was not stipulated and therefore shouldn't be labelled as a rule breaker as I didn't break what the theme was revealed as technically but it's fine. I know that the surprise will probs be kitty and Jade in the bottom but it's ok

I apologize if I'm coming across as a rather mean person to you, I've just had some rather nasty experiences with rule breakers myself. On top of that, I'm also the one who invented the whole rule breaker system for forum games.

Not at all buddy. I have full respect for you and what you are saying but I just technically think that if the tag is to be applied then the theme must be fully explained and we should be told what will be applied as a rule breaker. Both mine and your argument can be seen as right but I feel from the tag being applied and also the comment about putting those with the tag at the bottom a bit unfair especially after your comments about tactical commenting trying to save your own act. But I know EoS everything that happens about this game stay within the game and I definitely wouldn't hold a grudge or anything
