Copies of their own album?

Chris must be laughing, as Tulsa kept on saying she couldn't work out who would buy his album. What goes around comes around

She has 2 million followers and so far sold 7k?

Is she doing any album signings?

That is precisely what some people on this very forum need to realise, that twitter followers do not customers make. James Arthur's 1m twitter followers will not transfer well into votes (as they didn't for 1D or Cher Lloyd) and they most certainly will not transfer into record buyers (as they didn't for Matt Cardle, Little Mix).

Made up that Tulisa's shit record has tanked. She thoroughly deserves it. It's a pity Chris is so well mannered in a way. Wagner would have raised the subject, expressed condolences and basically laughed in her face

well traditionally albums normally sell the most copies the first couple of days after release then the sales die down towards the end of the week.

What label is she on? If she's on a non Cowell label I expect her to get dropped pretty soon

If you want to support her, why don't you go and buy her album?

We're just pointing out that she slagged off Christopher saying that nobody would buy his album, and how irony can be brilliant sometimes

You can level that at Tulisa because she has put her neck on the line.

Her album has only been out for a very short time, so it's far too early cite sales figures it.

the more records someone sells the more i respect their opinion as a talent judge, which is why i say they should get 4 of 1direction as the panel next year

Not one word of the above made any sense

I don't have a Vendetta against her, I think she's probably the best of a very poor set of Judges.

I follow several X factor people but would never buy any of their records. Twitter followers don't really mean anything.

Basically Tulisa is on a tv show in front of millions of viewers, all this year she has had a face like a slapped backside. She has somewhat showed her true colour's. It does not pay to alienate the audience or stuff like this happens. X Factor is a good platform for contestants and judges alike but you can easily ruin it for yourself. I know Gary is not to popular on this forum but x factor has come out well for him, his whole tour sold out in less that a day with one venue selling out in 6 minutes. Tulisa is still young and doesn't seem to realise that you need to strike a balance and she damaged herself with the public this year.

Yes of course it didn't make sense yet you managed to defend the fact that you didn't have a vendetta. You may not have a vendetta but my post was meant for those in general who start threads of this nature, but now I see its all in defense of that insipid Christopher Maloney.

She's had a whopping chance, she sang on X Factor which is the biggest exposure you can get on the strongest medium, the promotion is relentless, there are highly visible posters all over London.

She hasn't launched with a whisper campaign that we all gradually hear about, everyone knows she's got a single and an album out and both are doing poorly, so poorly in fact she would not be signed for a follow-up were she not on a TV show.

I like Tulisa as a judge but I don't go for her music, and I don't go for what she gave Ella to sing a lot of the time. If Simon is looking to shake up the show he will take this into account, also that while she won last year, she managed to take the favourite - Ella - and give her such crap material that she didn't get anywhere near the final, plus she lost her 2 other acts early. Ella's career will have to be much more heavily promoted because she went out so early, which Simon won't like.

Tulisa's even lost the Daily Mail's 'who dressed best' article on her and the stunning Nicole in every single week but one! It's hard to see where her fan base actually is.

Chris winning and beating whatever first week sales Tulisa's gets would be brilliant. It's a shame Louis likes her and hates Chris, would love for him to raise her own inability to sell when she inevitably critcises him on the weekend. Hopefully Gary will.

I honestly don't think it has anything all the much to do with Christopher, Rylan was hugely unpopular on a lot media sites, in fact the level of dislike for him was huge. When Tulisa saved him the sites errupted and you saw the vendetta emerge, people were determined to make her loose Ella and they achieved it, then all the press about her being a home wrecker, then add Christopher into the bargain. I think there has been a lot of reasons for her alienating the audience this year

I'm probably looking too much into this. The poor album sales probably aren't due to her being unpopular, it could just be down to the album being simply shit and getting slammed by every critic on the net

OP,

Credibility in the music industry is not all that important for the role of X-Factor judge. Let's be honest, Louis has been doing it for years and he's seen as a laughing stock in the industry who lucked into a couple of acts (and by all accounts muddled through the 'management' of them). Gary Barlow is probably the only one on the panel who has real 'credibility' as a singer, songwriter and producer... and I fear the show has nearly destroyed all that he built up since Take That's second-coming!

Tulisa was no doubt brought on board because Simon somehow thought she would appeal to the younger viewer. They got away with it in her first season, but it's proving a bit of a mistake this year!

Tulisa is going through a period where everyone seems to hate her, and people genuinely say the same things over and over. Some do not like her for whatever reasons A LOT is just sheep follow the crowd crap. In this climate it is very difficult to sell anything Her album was released on monday today is wednesday so in two days she sold 7k that's not outrageously bad.
