Going off James by the day

Starting to hope he doesn't win

I doubt he'd be thrilled to be compared to Rebecca, 1D or Cher either to be honest.

But if he really thinks originality is one of his main strengths then going on a Simon Cowell show was a huge step in the wrong direction.

Possibly but in a notoriously difficult business to penetrate it provides him with a convenient platform.

Why did he enter it then?

[quote=Eve Elle;62779201]Hah! It's Buble that should be complaining!

Anyways, James, get the impression he thinks he's better than X-Factor a la Matt Cardle. And we all know how that worked out.

I also think it's better not to get drawn into an argument unless you know you can totally dominate.[/

I agree. From what I remember Steven wasn't even being rude about James anyway - even though he said that James wasn't his favourite he was perfectly respectful. James' snarky twitter comment shows he took what Steven said way too personally.

Matt Cardle's Falsetto quickly became wearing .

Saw his BBC interview this morning - what a miserable unlikeable idiot. Clearly thinks he's far too cool to be on the XF -first thing he said was 'I'm not your normal XF contestant, I'm a singer/songwriter blah blah blah'
Staring to believe his own publicity is always a danger sign!

Sounds like 'Authentic Arthur' is becoming the new 'Credible Cardle' then.

I didn't see that interview. I wonder whether he is reacting against the stereotype of an X Factor contestant: someone with limited singing ability, with no creative ability and just does what they are told - a producers' puppet.

The few X Factor contestants who do have ability are tainted by association with the hundreds of people we see in the earlier stages who just sound horrible, some of whom are spectacularly deluded about how "wonderful" they are.

He was obviously baited and he retaliated, there is an old saying ...never give them the satisfaction or rising to the bait, however not everyone is the same

If they were interviewed first thing you're not exactly going to be that chipper that time in the morning and I know on Day Break they were outside in the freezing cold. Hardly the best way to start your day. Plus Chris is so thick - he never comes up with anything new to say and just repeats a dull old mantra time after time. I can well see that some of the questions James is asked could be trying his nerves. Oh and stop already going on about the guy's teeth! There's nothing wrong with normal teeth.

God help him if he wins then. He better get a personality from somewhere . They will trawl him across all the breakfast shows and more. If he continued with a face like a smacked backside, no matter how good you may think his voice is people will be put of him straight away. As regarding Chris , at least the lad can raise a smile. They are meant to be living there dream for gods sake.
