I agree with the poster who said it was bad timing. Not just that but Sight of You was a poor single choice to release before the album, I like Tulisa but the song is just dull and there were better tracks on the album that could have been released instead.
Having said that, Ke$ha's new album is making Tulisa's album look like a huge hit. K$ isn't even top 40. |

Love this post. Speak that truth! She's far too nervous to become a solo singer, she looked so uncomfortable on BGT and X Factor. Personally I think she was made to do the album but would prefer to be an actress instead. Also if she decided who her market was and determined whether she was urban or and Ibiza party girl.
I just think she brought out an Ibiza style album so not as to compete with the type of urban music she does with NDubz. She's been saying for weeks her band are getting back together. I think her next solo venture will be acting. |

The simple reason is that the released singles do not accurately reflect her album. There were much better songs on the album that she could have released. Live your Life should have been the third single instead of being "B-Side". If she wanted a "ballad" then she could have chosen one of the countless others on her album. I like it though and feel disappointed that is isn't doing better for her.
This may be the final nail in the coffin for her X Factor role...

"why so low?"
Because it's vomit. A review I read earlier summed it up, "There’s more panache in a monophonic ring-tone or a microwave than there is on the entirety of The Female Boss." The next time she's criticising acts for not being "modern" or "contemporary" just remember how s*** her very modern album is. |

I'm not a fan of Tulisa's but sales this low, even in today's climate must be very demoralising for her.
According to DS, it's likely to drop out of the Top 20 immediately. So why does eveyone think it has failed so badly? Even age old bands like Kiss sell more than that in the UK (Kiss' most recent sold 12000 in Britain in the first week of release, and was widely regarded as a huge failure), so why would someone as high profile as Tulisa bomb so badly? . KARMA BITCH!

maybe the sales are so low because people are struggling to relate to her, due to her strong urban roots

What a bad way to end the year, flop album and probably sacked from X Factor.
Bet she doesn't use the "I'm looking for someone who can sell records" line on Saturday, she wouldn't dare. |

The more important question is why has Tulisa been the unlucky one who has released an album that people care is crap? |
