Having said that, Ke$ha's new album is making Tulisa's album look like a huge hit. K$ isn't even top 40.”

Yeah but Tulisa gets more promotion than Kesha and has the XFactor. I can understand Kesha.... but that's bad for Tulisa.

Agree with pow wow and this post.

I just think she brought out an Ibiza style album so not as to compete with the type of urban music she does with NDubz. She's been saying for weeks her band are getting back together. I think her next solo venture will be acting.

The simple reason is that the released singles do not accurately reflect her album. There were much better songs on the album that she could have released. Live your Life should have been the third single instead of being "B-Side". If she wanted a "ballad" then she could have chosen one of the countless others on her album. I like it though and feel disappointed that is isn't doing better for her. This may be the final nail in the coffin for her X Factor role...

"why so low?"

Because it's vomit. A review I read earlier summed it up, "There’s more panache in a monophonic ring-tone or a microwave than there is on the entirety of The Female Boss."

The next time she's criticising acts for not being "modern" or "contemporary" just remember how s*** her very modern album is.

So why does eveyone think it has failed so badly? Even age old bands like Kiss sell more than that in the UK (Kiss' most recent sold 12000 in Britain in the first week of release, and was widely regarded as a huge failure), so why would someone as high profile as Tulisa bomb so badly?”

Couldn't have happened to a nicer person . KARMA BITCH!

This is all kinds of amazing. It is vomit, you are correct. A nice case of crap material getting a crap position. Well done, everyone!

maybe the sales are so low because people are struggling to relate to her, due to her strong urban roots

I don't know where you're looking, but from where I'm standing, One Direction are at Number 24 and Ed Sheeran is at Number 44. She is at 45 and 91.

What a bad way to end the year, flop album and probably sacked from X Factor.

Bet she doesn't use the "I'm looking for someone who can sell records" line on Saturday, she wouldn't dare.

because she's actually not that popular?

But that hasn't stopped numerous equally (if not moreso) crap artists selling record in recent years. The quality of Tulisa's album is irrellevant.

The more important question is why has Tulisa been the unlucky one who has released an album that people care is crap?
