Have just received this Bush freesat box. Installed easy and picture is excellent compared to freeview in my area.

Only niggle is that the menu seems to be really slow, like 5 seconds lag before it decides to change the channel ive selected.

Does anyone know how (if) this can be fixed/altered, as it is very annoying?

I've just had a look on the Which? site where they have tested the Bush Freeview B320HDPVR. OK I know yours is a Freesat 500GB version. Which say the 320GB model is slow changing channels so I guess that your model is the same. Usually what applies to one model will apply to another.

Only solution is to send it back if you are within 7 days of receipt, and you bought it online (Distance Selling Regulations), or take it back if you bought it from a shop and say it is too slow and see what they say.

Which recommend the Echostar HDS-600RS 500GB Freesat HD PVR. It is their top Best Buy and the only Best Buy freesat PVR. It's round about the same price as the Bush and a much better machine. The Bush scores 62% and the Echostar 78%.
