I'm pleased to hear that your cat loves a good shimmy, mine spends most of the time snoozing.

It sounds like our cats have a lot in common.

Some people seem to be taking very seriously something that is just a bit of fun. They often show videos sent in of people (usually children) doing various dances from the programme. This is just an extension of that.

I think the 'Strictly Shimmy' is great fun.

I enjoyed the clips of a dad and small daughter attempting to copy an actual pro's performance.

This Shimmy nonsense is going to be less interesting than the Hokey Cokey... Or will that be next week's challenge?

Whatever happened to ballroom dancing?

The clips of the dad and small daughter were lovely, I guess they just intend the 'Strictly Shimmy' to be a bit of show filler fun.

This guy (see last couple of paras) finds it cringeworthy and suggests the Bruno Loono.

Seeing Miranda on Take 2 panel last week do her very good Bruno impression, he could be on to something! Maybe Rumba arms - and all fall off your sofa at the end !

There are obviously not as many competitors left as they approach the finals so It Takes Two has to find things to fill up the time allocated to it.

Our cat also likes a good shimmy.

Luckily she is well trained so only does it in her litter tray, which is where the strictly shimmy should be consigned.

Your probably right, I hope they bring back 'Widdy's question time, I used to enjoy that special feature on It Takes Two.

I hope they aren't going to use it as an excuse to get Bruce involved. This would be a bit of desperate attempt to try to stop his slide into obscurity.”

Oh dont worry he'll be at the front(hence the Brucie pose) looking like Fagin as he does every time he tries to ballroom dance!

Are you related to that other joker Terry?

I think a lot of the stuff they give us on It Takes Two is meant to be light hearted family fun.
