CPW will sign you up with Orange so there will be no problem with your account. The phone from CPW will ususally come unlocked and should recieve any updates from Samsung rather than Samsung via Orange and therefore they should be quicker.

I got my Desire direct from Orange but upgraded to the One X at CPW. They happily accessed my account details and did the upgrade, even informing me it would be a 25 month contract since I was upgrading a month early.
The advantage was I got the phone right away and it was unlocked with no Orange bloat or branding. The disadvantage was no cooling off period if I changed my mind, something you get when buying online. Happily I love the One X. I had to get a new SIM since the One X has a micro SIM, so the phone originally had a different number but that was then changed by Orange. |

i really don't want to lose any of my contacts Lots of people need to migrate their contacts, so I'm sure someone could talk you through it. |
