So as the X Factor Final approaches...
...does anyone care?
I noticed a recommended video on youtube earlier called "James Arthur sings The Power of Love" and realised I'd never seen that performance. I'm guessing it was on one of the recent results shows, as I haven't bothered watching them for a couple of weeks. I've had better things to do and found it easier just to look up who went out after the fact. I wasn't really bothered who went. I also just realised that we're nearly at the final now and I don't really care who wins. I hadn't even considered that we were this close to it airing. Unless I've nothing else to do at all, I wouldn't care if I missed it. Anyone else feeling a complete lack of interest in the final? |

Dunno about caring but I'm more interested than I was last year.
Last year was diabolical. A final made up from a put together group of rejected contestants, an old fashioned smiley 'entertainer' and someone brought back from week one. This year we have two great singers and ... a possible car crash television event. A real life Peter Kay what-if-the-worst-singer-got-to-the-final situation. Genuinely riveting. |

My favourites rarely make the final so its similar to usual really, i just hope they pick interesting songs that suit them
I'd definitely recommend listening to power of love, it was great!

I am not fully excited by the Final. My favourite (Ella) got booted off at the wrong time for me, but as this is the final 3, I would say that James Arthur and Jahmene will be the final 2, with Chris finishing in Third place!
As far as the winner goes, I actually think its very close, I would edge towards Jahmene but only just! |

I cannot believe its the final on Saturday!! Doesn't feel like it - there is NO buzz...Usually people in my office would be talking about it etc, but nothing!!
Is it even in the paper?? Don't have a favourite this year, but I would be ok with Jaheme or James winning.! Christopher winning - may also serve a purpose in a very perverse way. I have long since thought XF needed an overhaul...If Christopher won, I really think the powers that be would have to revamp the show entirely...! Out would go; Sob stories Joke, novelty and cabaret acts Inexperienced judges (e.g. Tulisa) In would have to come; Serious musicians Serious talent Judges with music credibility But as I have said, I am meh! about this final!!! Looking forward to Strictly Come Dancing final heaps more! |

you can tell by the number of replies. Usually you would get 10 times more at least.

I care deeply but unfortunately I have a prior engagement to gouge my eyes out and put stakes through my ears. Not something I'd want to cancel for this year's X Factor Final really.
