I think fame wise they are on the same level while OK Ash is not well known in the UK Dec is even less known in the US worldwide Ash will me more famous even if she's just known as that girl from the PCD

Well that's delusional. Dec had done very amazingly well if he gets a girl life Ashley. Beauty and personality is rare.
You think? There are many people with beauty and personality. In fact, if someone has a great personality, it makes them more beautiful. Finding someone who is compatible is the most important thing. That is not a "delusion".

Dec's career probably has more longevity, I think. Ashley, as a backing singer/dancer, probably hasn't got many years left.

True enough but where he is now is where he will be in another 10-20 years not saying anything against them but they are not going to brake the US or anywhere else as least Ash is known (well sort of) all over the world even I have heard of the PCD and I'm so out of touch with music I consider New Kids On The Block as newcomers

I think Ash would be better getting into the same type of work TBH she has the right personality for it

I think Ant and Dec as a partnership could carry on into old age, a bit like Morecambe and Wise maybe.

Ashley has a great personality, but no more so than many other pop performers.

True I just think as far as fame and popularity go they have peaked they could be on TV for another 40 years but they are never going to be bigger than they are right now.

this morning on Daybreak

ETA: Funny how she didn't get Lorraine's 'cheeky (wee) monkey' comment at Aled when she tweeted that Ant and Dec were cheeky monkeys. I suppose that is down to Lorraine's accent?
Ashley was probably thinking: "what's a piss ape?"

No, I think they will just carry on with the same middle-of-the-road appeal they already have, doing stuff like hosting the Royal Variety Performance and other such gigs.

I can't imagine Ashley even wanting to do presenting work. She's more of a performer, and that automatically makes her career more short-lived, even if she does have the talent to be a good solo artist. I hope I'm proved wrong!

That's what I mean where they are now is where they are going to stay will at least until the next big double act comes along

Charlie shipped her entire family over for a freebie holiday, what more does she want? Ashley's mum was still in Arizona.
I'm sure Ashley could have invited her mum instead of her best friend. Anyway, Ashley's a big girl now, Kiki is still very young.

Sorry to all the romantics out there but I have to say I agree with this. The cynic in me suggests that Ashley (or those advising her) know that this is one of her 'stories' and can't blame her for playing along. I can't see them as a couple, they don't seem to move in the same circles. But I'd love to be proved wrong.
Plus, Ashley's eyes didn't show that she fancied Dec when talking to them both before she did Bushtucker Trials. I think she fancies Dec about as much as she fancies Ant. Zilch, or not much at all.

I actually found Ashley quite difficult to read sometimes because despite, or perhaps because, she's unfailingly friendly with everyone it was sometimes difficult to work out who she really liked. Interestingly Charlie was more of an open book, and wore her heart on her sleeve more- possibly why she won.

But no, I don't think Ashley fancied Dec in the slightest.

I don't think Ant and Dec have made a successful and lucrative career out of dating contestants on gameshows they present - that would be very unprofessional.

A bit off topic but I think if the BBC ever got them Ant & Dec would make great hosts for The Generation Game they have that sense of humour the show needs

No, I can't be sure but I imagine she's just trying to keep her name in the headlines. Typical RTV contestant.

Maybe that's the reason she didn't win? Maybe everyone was sick of Dec drooling over her?
Ashley never said come and get me Dec.

show runner-up Ashley, 31, said: “All I know about him is he made me eat a fish eyeball.
“But it’s really flattering that he said nice things, because I did not feel attractive in the jungle.
“I was all disgusting and gross. Your nails get full of dirt and you get a black ring inside your nostrils from all the grime, which is not cute at all.
“So I don’t know how anyone ended up liking me, but it’s nice.

“I think everything happens for a reason and when my man comes along, he comes along.
“I’d like to get to know Dec better. It would be nice to go for a drink and a chat.

I don't understand why this post was directed at me? I am fairly certain she does not 'fancy' Dec but talking about him does keep her name in the papers.
