New and no clue!
I am older generation (got to look cool for the kids though!). I want a game system which encompasses the likes of Table Tennis and that sort of sport (Wii?) and games like adventure and puzzles). Do not like war games or the like.
Hand held would be good. Price not too relevant. Jokes welcome. Advice even more welcome. |

The Wii U (Nintendoland bundle) would be a good system to go for because you can also play Wii games like Mario & Sonic 2012 Olympics which does have Table Tennis as one of the sports plus Wii Sports/Wii Sports resort and there are some decent puzzle and adventure games to be found on the system plus you can always use the virtual console once it is updated on the system to play some cracking puzzle and adventure games from the older systems and wiiware.
Also the gamepad does have the handheld feel about it. |

Well the Wii U is intending to be a more 'serious' gaming console than the Wii, but at the same time keeping the family demographic happy. Plus it plays Wii games. So it's a pretty good mashup of the two main console gaming crowds which exist currently. Just needs a few more games, but it's early days.
