Evening All

snowing/Ice Rain - thankfully the snow is sort of melting at the moment but its now turning to ice (currently a nice -2)

currently bottom of my road is flooded,no doubt tomorrows ice ring (due to my councills "intersting way" of gritting)

well,my councils way of gritting is to dump them all in yellow bins parked in the most random places & not put a single bit on the roads or paths - helpfull much?

When I lived in Gloucester the council's idea of gritting was to not do it

We have those bins too, I don't think I have ever seen one filled up!

Up my way they do that but they always forget to provide the much needed chisel to hack the frozen grit out of the box!

ours get filled up during december once,padlocked - broken into by the youth in summer & tipped out so the youth can put there drugs in - come winter the youth use up there drugs so theres room for the new lot of grit to go in & the cycle contiues again

OMG did you just see those dogs in NZ learning to drive??? Cutest thing ever! They're changing gears and steering and everything!

we gave all our grit over to america 2 years ago,council got into trouble about having no grit then Had to BUY BACK The same grit we sold at almost double the price to what we sold it for - nice to see my taxes going to wast
