Sorry guys, my right click button on my laptop trackerpad is awful

Here are the correct links for Audio Vixen:

Audio Vixen: 'Animals' by Neon Trees
Christina and Ria:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPHbbbzpyEc
Ross: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM7Hlg75Mlo (Refer to this version for the harmonies)
Note: The three will split the song, each taking a verse and harmonizing on the choruses, this highlights their great pop-rock harmonies

Comments coming soon

Take your time Kev, I'll just carry on with the show. You can post one big wall of comments when you've caught up.

That's some rather mediocre comments for Angel yet again, will she survive this show or will she once again go out after the fifth live show like she did on The X Factor Australia?

Up next, we have the second of the groups. Kev is putting a lot of work into this act, and seems to be determined to take them very far. Please welcome Mrs. Greenbird back to the stage, where they will be singing a song called 'Mango Tree' by Angus and Julia Stone!

Note: Steffen's vocals will be slightly huskier, a bit like this:

Mrs Greenbird

Guys this was another great performance from you guys and another good vocal display of what you can do. Angus and Julia are the type of artist that you should be trying to be and it was another time I have gone wow you guys can do this! You can go all the way. You are just fantastic and I really do wish you the best throughout this competition guys because you are my favourite at the moment!

Well guys, you've been a darkhorse act for some time and you've shown a lot of potential. However I think tonight, even though it was a good song choice and you all sung it so brilliantly. I just feel that it's now becoming a bit predictable and the performance was actually a bit dull at times. Nonetheless, I think you did a good job for tonight.

Mrs. Greenbird also appear to be one of those acts that will never get unanimous praise from the panel, although they DO get the public to vote for them each week. How will they fare in tonight's public vote?

Tonight's eighth performance will be brought to you by another one of the over 25s. She's been called a frontrunner a few times already, so let's see if Samantha Jade can keep her praise 'So High' as she sings a Thorunn Antonia song tonight!

Samantha Jade

Two weeks in a row you have just knocked it out of the park Sammi! You are one of these singers that is just a joy to work with. I feel like each week you’re just going yes this is my song and this is my time to shine and you’ve just gone and done what you’ve needed to do! Sammi another great performance! I am one really proud mentor tonight! I really hope the public think the same!

Audio Vixen: This was an amazing performance guys, I think the energy of the song was perfect for you, it had a really quirky fun vibe and reminded me of your performance of 'Vida La Vida' in the real show, I love your vocals, love your harmonies and love you as a group and I so hope that you are safe for a long time to come because you're definitely going to keep delivering, this was another amazing performance.

Danielle Penning: I think the bluesiness of your voice was slightly lost on the sort of urban dance feel of this song, it wasn't good enough for you, I feel like this song just doesn't work for acts who are all about the vocals, you needed something that would be pushing your voice but this just felt like you were better than the song itself, it wasn't bad but at the same time, it wasn't extraordinary either, it was a bit middle of the road in my opinion, good luck all the same in the voting!

Vino Alan: I wasn't as keen on you this week as last week Vino, last week I think your mentor got it spot on with you but this week, it sounded all a bit pub-rockerish for me, I just feel like the song itself sounded really boring and you didn't get the chance to really add anything to it, it was just you singing the song and didn't really impress me, I feel like your mentor gets you completely and has a clear direction for you but I don't think that this song was good enough for you, I'd have preferred something slightly more energetic and with a bit more oomph.

Sumera Espinel: I don't feel like your mentor really gets you Sumera, I mean literally every week you come out and sing something completely different to the style of song you sang last week, as Soppyfan himself says, it was a change of direction for you but for some reason, there seems to be a change of direction for you every week, you for me are a bluesy singer, your vocals are quite full of soul so that is what I'd like to see you do but Lana Del Rey is totally wrong for you in my opinion, I didn't really like it.

Daniel Vensgaard: I really enjoyed the energy you added to this performance Daniel but IMO, this song would have been perfect for Vino Alan another week where it fitted the theme, it was great for you, don't get me wrong but the whole way through, I was thinking how well fitted this song is to Vino's rocky voice, however, with that said, you definitely gave it your own edge and I thought it was one of your best performances so far. Well done!

Angel Tupai: I wasn't wowed by it Angel? IMO, your first song would have fitted you WAY better than this, whereas Pink for me is just edgy pop vocals with a rock edge, Anastacia manages to combine that with a bit of soul added which is what you are all about, in fact I honestly have no idea why your mentor didn't just try and find another Anastacia song that fitted the theme rather than to give you this. It was okay and much better than last week but for me, your mentor needs to find the happy medium between rock and soul, I don't want you to completely forget your soul roots!

Mrs. Greenbird: What can I say, guys? You come out every week and you deliver whatever I give you with your heart and soul, you put 110% into every performance you give and I know why you're still here, you're still here because you're just pure artists, you have a clear genre, you sing the heck out of the songs you're given and your harmonies are literally divine, I really hope you keep being saved because the more you sing, the more you allow us to fall in love with your divine artistry!

Samantha, once again you show us how you are a winner to everyone watching. It was once again a great song choice and a great performance that I enjoyed a lot too. I hope you're able to keep it going because the other Overs and a few other acts are starting to catch up with you.

Samantha Jade: Sami, you were utterly amazing last week and once again, this is a great song choice, the only thing I'd say and I think I mentioned it before, I'd like to see you inject a bit more of your breathy soul tone into your performances because whilst the pop element is great, I think the breathy quality of your voice is what really sets you apart from the other females in this competition, overall a great job though!

Great comments for Samantha Jade once again, but will the public vote for her tonight?

Next up, it's the second of the wildcards. He was in the bottom two last week, and now he wants to prove to everyone that he deserved to stay in the competition over his fellow wildcard. Singing 'Just A Feeling' by Maroon 5, it's Jesper!

Jesper my boy, we were surprised to see you singing for survival and I know that was it of a surprise, but I'm so glad that you're here. Tonight, that was an absolutely stunning performance from you Jesper and when you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything. I know the people will be voting for you tonight as they need someone like you in the competition, so please vote for Jesper!

Jesper

Okay Jesper this is the second time you’ve used a Maroon 5 song in the space of 5 shows. I mean if your mentor is repeating bands now I do have to think what plans he’s got for the future when he’s already repeating himself. If I judge the song without that fact the bands been used for you again, it was average, nothing special just an okay choice overall for you and not a real improvement on what we saw last week except it wasn’t as boring.

Jesper: Sorry Jesper but you did sing a Maroon 5 quite recently in the live shows so I find it a little bit safe that your mentor has chosen to give you another Maroon 5 track in the space of just five shows. Add to that, the fact that he chose a really dull Maroon 5 song and I can't say I loved the performance, I just found it really forgettable and I honestly believe that I'll probably not have any memory of your performance by the time it comes to voting. Sorry Jesper but I would have liked more of a bounce back to form than that.

Ouch, those comments don't really bode well for Jesper. Will he be paying another visit to the bottom 2 tonight?

It's time for the penultimate performance of tonight's show, brought to you by the fourth and final over. Singing 'Golly Sandra' by Eisley, it's our beautiful Italian lady Chiara Galiazzo!

Note: the song finishes at 3:29

Chiara Galiazzo

Chiara it was another beautiful and enchanting performance by you. Seriously I just love working with you as you just come out each week and know exactly how to perform a beautiful song and show everybody what you’re made of! At the start you were a real unknown in the competition and now you’re becoming a serious contender! I couldn’t be happier with you. Amazing Chiara!

Chiara, I'm afraid I have to say that like Mrs. Greenbird, you are also becoming a little bit predictable, because you have shown that you are great at Country music but I'm waiting for something different now. I can see in your eyes that you weren't really connecting with the song and I was left disappointed at the end. I think you could be in trouble tonight.

Just thought I'd let you know Soppyfan, I haven't given her any country songs. Its more folk and indie rather than country which is a completely different genre to what they're performing

Oh I knew that, it's just that I'm focusing on two different games at once right now.

Mixed comments for Chiara, will the public back her tonight or will she have to sing for survival tonight?

It's time for the final performance of tonight's main show. She's been in the sing-off before, and wouldn't like to be there again this week. Closing the show with a blast from the past called 'Everywhere' by Chaka Khan, it's Jade Ellis!

Jade Ellis

Jade last week was one of your bests and I was expecting a lot from you after that performance. If I am honest this was decent but not the standard we have seen you perform in the past. You still delivered a good vocal performance but the song just felt really old fashioned for you and wasn’t really an amazing performance, it was decent but not at the amazing standard I expect from you.

What can I say girl? Last week you were amazing and this week, a little less but you still came out on top tonight with your raspy and jazzy style voice. Unlike the other judges, I LOVE nostalgia music and I'm impressed that your mentor went for this song choice. Great way to close the show, Jade, I really enjoyed that.

Chiara Galazzio: This was okay Chiara, I wasn't crazy about the song choice, I found the vocals a bit too quirky for my liking as I feel like your voice is slightly stronger than the lead singer of Eisley's voice, overall, it wasn't bad but I would have probably preferred something slightly less left-field.

Jade Ellis: This was really boring Jade, I was loving you until the week when you ended up in the bottom two but after you made such an improvement last week, this is back down at the bottom of the spectrum again, it was just a really dull song choice, there was no real thought went into the song choice as it was really predictable, you doing a Chaka Khan track and I just found it lackluster!

Mixed comments for Jade as well, could she end up in the bottom 2 again after that performance?

Anyway, that's it for tonight's main show. The acts and the judges have done all they could possibly do. Now it's up to you, the lovely denizens of the Digital Spy forums, to decide what happens next!

Here's a reminder of the eleven acts that performed tonight:
Spoiler

To vote, please rank all the acts that have performed tonight from 11 to 1, assigning 11 points to your favorite act, all the way down to just 1 point for your least favorite act. Mentors can vote as well, and they CAN vote for their own acts as well. After you've listed and ranked the acts, PM the list to me (EndOfSanity).

The lines will remain open until 21:00, with the results taking place at 21:05 on this thread. So start voting right away as the contestants' fates will be sealed in 70 minutes!

Also, try your prediction skills at our Prediction Game once again (details will be posted as soon as possible).

In addition to voting, please participate in the prediction game. You know the rules by now, judges have to do it and viewers can do it too if they want to.

Like last show
, you will be guessing which two acts will be in the bottom 2 tonight. This will allow for a maximum of 4 points, but you'll only get the fourth point if you correctly predict both acts!

PM me your predictions, and check back after the results to see the updated scoreboard.

Also, feel free to discuss the show here on this thread while you wait for the results!
