There have been trials, tears and tribulations recently, but could the arrival of Warwick and Mica bring any more twists to the camp? Let’s begin at the trial area, where you voted Charlotte and Ken to work together in ‘The Bat Cave’…
They both got on with the trial fairly swiftly, and decided that Ken would give instructions and Charlotte would search the cave (a role which she became unhappy with once she saw how little light there was). The tricky part was that the two were not able to see each other, which would make for a pretty chaotic trial. Once the klaxon sounded, Ken told Charlotte to search around the closest corner of the cave. She did so, and despite screaming at the touch of a few boxes (‘I think it’s crocodile!’), she managed to retrieve two stars hanging from the cave’s roof. Ken’s misjudged instructions meant that Charlotte was covered in a shower of bugs – making a noise that only dogs could hear. Nonetheless, she still managed to find five more stars, winning seven in total. The camp were fairly happy, and pleasantly surprised, with this.
Also in the show, we saw Amy and Glynis partake in a Dingo Dollar challenge. In this task, they had to play a tune on a keyboard to unlock the dollars. Think it was easy? Think again, as both of them admitted that they didn’t have a musical bone in their body. But luck was on their side, and they finally managed to play the correct tune, much to their delight. They then faced the question, ‘Which show was Glynis in longer? A) Dempsey and Makepeace or B) EastEnders’. Glynis knew the answer immediately and Glenn, who answered the phone, knew too. As a result, Amy and Glynis won fruit kebabs, after a choice of either those or breadsticks.
After their night of hell in Madhouse Motel, Warwick and Mica entered camp today – much to the surprise of the fellow celebrities, not expecting visitors. Their entrance was welcome, with Heidi saying in the Bush Telegraph that she was thrilled to see some ‘new faces’ in camp. Charlotte and Ken won a meal of wallaby for the camp, which Mica helped Amy to cook.
Tomorrow, one celebrity will be ‘Taking the Plunge’, quite literally. Let’s see what this next trial involves…
“All those swimming lessons will come in handy in this next trial! One celebrity of your choice will be exploring a swampy jungle lake for stars, but will have to come to terms with slithering eels and snapping crocs before they can emerge victorious…”
Intriguing! Vote for the one celebrity you want to see rolling in the deep, and we’ll be here later with the result.
