I can't remember but did it directly coincide with Charlie's recovery in the voting listed on the previous page?
Close call between her and Rosemary the night the door stunt was shown but voting was closed before they showed Charlies upset the next night her vote recovered and Hugo was sent home even though the night before he had more votes Thats why I believe there was a Kiki effect to Charlies win |

Rubbish! Dec and Ant had already said the voting in terms of winning had changed about thirty minutes or twenty minutes before then.So in terms of winning Charlie had already won 20 or 30 minutes before the end.Kiki's coming in 30 seconds before the result was announced had no effect as she had already won!

I am so angry with your post. How dare you call Kiki the devil child. She is innocent in all these but you are taking your anger and viciousness on a child. How vile is that calling a little girl a devil child. Not funny what you've just said
If you don't apologise for this I have a mind to report you to the moderators especially as you've posted against the rules of the forum!! |

I really felt sorry for Helen too.I don't think she did anything to be so hated.Others have been worse in the past. However for those who are saying a good edit helped Charlie win at the end,in all fairness do you not thinking the good edits with the secret tasks helped Ashley's popularity soar too. I'm sure it did.If Charlie had been given the secret task instead of Ashley she would even have been way more popular. So really the favourite edits were not just for Charlie.
It makes me laugh how many on here talk about fairness. It's an entertainment show not an election. All ITV have to do is ensure that all the votes cast on time are counted for the correct person. That's it. They will show what is entertaining and try to engineer some if none happens by itself. All this “Kiki won it”, well, if that was so, why did Ashley pound everyone in the voting right up until the final? If the door challenge thing was so important surely Charlie would have surged in the following day’s voting? As for the final. I'm pretty sure that Kiki coming on screen was no more than 15 seconds before Dec (I think) said that voting was closed. I doubt that they closed at the very point Dec said “closed” and even if they did there’s no way that it can have materially effected the result. It seems that David’s voters switched more to Charlie than they did to Ashley. |

Thing you got to remember is its %'s. It means that Charlies votes may not have increased, she may have had exactly the same votes throughout the whole series, yet if any other camp mates votes goes down or up that effects the others %'s. Not saying KiKi wasnt a factor, but its so hard to tell if votes actually increased at all when its all %'s. Someone could have less votes than the day before but a higher %
Be interesting to see the votes and various stages, ie quarterly through the show etc |

I honestly think it is now only people on DS that care about these results. It was nearly a week ago, all the over paid celebrities have had a lovely time in the Versace Hotel and will now be going back to their pampered celebrity lives. Charlie won, well done Charlie, lets not waste valuble time arguing over the result of an entertainment programme.

The 5 lowest vote to saves (from when the figures were announced)
Britt Ekland- 0.97% ( )Dani Behr- 1.1% Lembit Opik- 1.7% Carly Zucker- 2.1% (and she survived that night, too!) Alison Hammond- 2.05% So Linda got a landslide, in comparison! |

I swear Kiki was on the final for like 5 seconds before the voting closed, barely enough time to dial the number... after remembering the number.

Yes it did
Close call between her and Rosemary the night the door stunt was shown but voting was closed before they showed Charlies upset the next night her vote recovered and Hugo was sent home even though the night before he had more votes Thats why I believe there was a Kiki effect to Charlies win I don't really blame Charlie too much though because the initial reactions about the yellow door seemed authentic enough to me. Although if you offered a big fat bloke a massive fish and chip supper he isn't going to say 'No' is he? He'll gobble it all up. I do blame the show itself though for corrupting the game when they didn't even need to. They have to contrive their stories don't they? They can't help themselves. They can't ever, you know, just let things happen naturally of their own accord. I hate the letters from home and phone calls thing in any of these reality game shows anyway. They always strike me as a contrived method of creating drama from an external source if the format of the show is too weak and isn't delivering enough by itself. The thing is that for this series they didn't even need to do it. It's almost as if they did it just because 'that's what you do' in these shows, so artificially tacked it on. I'd rather these shows focused on the internal developments within the framework of the environment of the show. Good series, but this Kiki thing tainted it a little for me. I think it did corrupt the overall final result, which I think is a bit of a shame. |

If they could have used Kiki a bit more, or a sick grandmother, or a fake romance they would have. |

I wondered what post this person was talking about. It can't be my comment re the horrible post made regarding Kiki right? because if it is I'm sure he or she won't like their kid being called a devil child in person or in a forum.

ITV aren't really concerned with impartiality or fairness in the edits, For instance, celebs like Mike Reid and Vic Reeves claimed they were all but invisible in their series. ITV are concerned about two things only; viewing figures and advertising revenues.
If they could have used Kiki a bit more, or a sick grandmother, or a fake romance they would have. That's why my point is that I feel it was a shame as I don't think this series needed it. It was as though they just did it out of habit because it was felt that's what you ought to do in these series. It's become a reality game show cliche and it's as though they just chuck in some sort of story like this because it's become a habit and they do it automatically almost without thinking. |

Interesting to see how popular Ashley was right from the start when many thought she would be middle to bottom of voting and began to rally support mid-way through the eliminations.
But the fact that Charlie just escaped being eliminated then went on to won shows how few people must have been voting. I'm also amazed to see how badly Rosemary did. She finished 2nd one day, but was near the bottom other than that. I was expecting her to be top of the votes and tailing off. |

Goes to show that Ashley deserved the win
![]() But wow, it really was close. Charlie had a fantastic edit in the final episode so I'm not surprised she topped the vote when it mattered. Well done her

David should have won, despite not having as many votes. Definitely!
