Has there ever been a panel with less chemistry? The Kardashian girl presenter Is awful, so wooden. Britney's critique is so obviously scripted and she constantly looks uncomfortable. Demi Lovato has a bit of bounce to her, but seems to do nothing but argue with Simon
On the other hand the contestants are more talented than our crop.. |

LA Reid is an actually credible Louis Walsh, Demi Lovato is even feistier than Cheryl Cole ever was, Simon Cowell is Simon Cowell. The contestants are insanely talented.
The problem is Britney Spears - so out of her depth you can see her drowning. But that's the only real problem, swap out Spears and you've got a pretty perfect X Factor production I'd say. |

There is an odd vibe to it. Khloe is obviously awful. They should have gone with Stacey Kiebler like was rumoured. LA doesn't really interest many people, and he seems to just be there as either a back up or contrast to Cowell's opinion. Simon... Simon's career as a judge is just old now. Nothing is new. Demi is okay, but she seems a little try-hard. I love Britney in general, so I'm unlikely to critique her. I've enjoyed how it's brought her out of her shell a lot.
It's missing the fun factor. Especially lately with constant double eliminations it seems to be revelling in crushing dreams. While society generally enjoy this occasionally, it's a little too much. Give it an Xtra Factor style show that shows backstage hi-jinks and sketchs and skits. |

Not sure the ratings are there for it (not that there is any for the main show either. They have a "xtra factor" style show but it's only online.

Yeah, I noticed that, and I suppose online is a good place for it. It's just a general idea. The UK Xtra Factor has grown even though the main show has slipped. It reinforces the entertainment show element as opposed to just another singing contest.
. The show sometimes gets compared to America's Got Talent, which is not a good thing if it wants to be taken seriously with The Voice and American Idol.

It certainly lack any chemistry or even the sense of humour of the original.

Mario Lopez is fine on his own, he doesn't need Khloe Kardashit. Britney Spears is ALWAYS uncomfortable. I think that's because all eyes are on her and she's afraid of saying something stupid. Demi is bubbly but she's a very bad mentor.

Demi Lovato doesn't know what she's doing, she was a terrible mentor. Too young I think. Britney is useless. And LA Reid.. I just don't like him.

They are never going to loose LA Reid, the winner is co signed to LA Reid and its reid who does all the promotion, gets them song writers etc because Cowell has to return to the UK , LA ends up being the front manager for the winner.

My daughter who has been a MASSIVE fan for 2/3 years now admits she has made some weird decisions as mentor. But she was a great judge, and I think if she stays, will learn from her mistakes. |

This. If I was her I'd be afraid to say or do anything that wasn't scripted. She's probably the most scrutinised celebrity ever along with Michael Jackson.

I like it apart from Demi going on one every so often, As its not all about the judges and more about the singing.
unlike ours which is about the judges getting one over the other which to me is just boring and childish. |

He's hardly been promoting last year's acts and winner Melanie Amaro who are all signed to Epic.

I don't think the USA finalists are very talented, & I especially hate kids singing on these talent shows... which is all it seems to be about apparently.

Sorry but I really don't understand why people are saying X Factor USA's crop of talent is amazing.
Carly Rose? Yes, she's incredible. In a few years she could be even more fantastic. Tate Stevens? He's got a good enough voice. Diamond White is good but I forgot she existed. Fifth Harmony are shaky on the...harmony side of things. Cece Fry and Emblem 3 could barely carry a tune in a bucket. Carly Rose is the only one with the 'wow' factor. |

A lot of people are giving Khloe a hard time but I think Mario is just as bad, he sounds like a cheesy gameshow host from the 80's or something.
LA reid was the biggest dissapointment for me - he has amazing credentials but he really doesn't give more than the standard talent show 101 critiques ('I didn't like the song', 'you have star quality' zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz). Simon has been running on auto-pilot for years now but he's still bearable I guess. It's hard to believe that the American Idol producers were begging Simon to stay with them because they were afraid of the show bombing without him. People always used to say that Simon 'was' American Idol (which has completely rude to people like Kelly and Carrie etc but that's a different story) but they were so wrong. I think Simon has a hard time realising that viewers in the states watch these shows for the contestants rather than the judges which is why Idol still gets more viewers the XF/The voice, which seem to put more emphasis on big name celebraties on their panels. |
