1) Ashleigh
2) Lucy
3) Steven
4) Maria
5) Andrew
6) Patrick

Only Ashleigh and Lucy have a chance of winning this, as the others lack the creativity of those two (Maria and Andrew showed themselves up this week).
Interesting. I've yet to see ANY creativity from Ashleigh - cutting costs and hammering on about your one unoriginal idea (the kids club) doesn't strike me as being creative - but that's just my take on it. For sure, Sugar seems to quite like her, and he's seen more of the candidates than we have.

She was massacred in her nly stint as PM. She has become progessively worse, whilst Maria has developed massively. If she had let Ashleigh do the video under her own style last night it would have completely contradicated the branding of the product, but she remained fair.

She even said'We can do it as you say if you can justify it to me', which is exactly the sort of leadership a PM should show in decision mking. Ashleigh was 'I'm putting my foot down'. She's been a real moron the last two weeks.
Last week was not Ashleigh's only stint as PM. Ashleigh's shrewd decisions as PM in the first week won them the task. She had a bad idea with the children's club, but Maria for example has also pushed through bad ideas in the past.

I think Maria was more patient and respectful this week (she seems a bit scared of Ashleigh!), but she only did well in this task because the awful branding was consistent.

Everything about the product and the advert was horrible, you couldn't even read the brand name on the bottle. I don't think Ashleigh would have made the advert inconsistent if she'd had her way, she was just trying to make it look a bit more professional and she had been the one who designed the story board. The plotting of the advert would still have been in line with the product, but it might have been less cringe-worthy and cheap looking at the end.

Andrew is almost entirely doomed. Last week, Lord Sugar said he doesn't think he likes him. This week, the narrowest escape in the world. Not a stab. My guess is he'll improve a little next week, and if he survives he'll be the first person fired in the final.

Ashleigh is cool. Clever, business-minded, and she's got a really pleasant manner about her. She had a slightly rough patch last week, but what Apprentice winner hasn't? Tom Pellereau's was about a month long. Even on this week's task, where she contradicted a winning project manager, we saw that she was basically right to. My tip to win out of the girls.

Lucy seems to do relatively well, and she's a perfectly capable candidate, but I'm not entirely sure what she does all day. She's not put a foot wrong, but she's not put a foot that spectacularly right, either. Still really good, still a finalist, but perhaps not a winning finalist.

Maria is never going to win, but she'll probably leave with her head held relatively high. Perhaps higher than she particularly deserves. Probably fired next week.

Patrick is definitely not Lord Sugar's Apprentice. He's been a fired man walking since week one.

Steven has surprised me. Thoroughly unconvinced by his audition, didn't think there was much about him week one, but he's proven to be a solid performer, a good worker, and a really good talker in the boardroom. If any of the boys can win it, it's probably him.

My prediction?

6. Maria
5. Patrick (Double firing, PM always goes last.)
--
3=. Andrew
3=. Steven (Joint PMs, fired together.)
2. Lucy
1. Ashleigh

Can you put this into a more verifiable format please? I'm calculating all the scores, and I can't really do that with yours the way it is at the moment. It's supposed to be in order of highest to lowest, not a prediction of where each candidate will come. And you can't have a joint third place.

1.Ashleigh- Genuinely think she has shown the most skill, common sense and business acumen
2.Lucy- Like her but don't think she has done anything to wow anyone i think she is being hyped up on here because she is conservative and hasn't made any big mistakes.
3. Maria- Loud but good businesswise
4.Steven- best of the boys
5.Andrew- ok but too smug
6. Patrick-?????
Agree with all of this bar Andrew & Patrick, and and all of the reasons stated oddly enough ha.

So..

1. Ashleigh
2. Lucy
3. Maria
4. Steven
5. Patrick
6. Andrew

I thought Andrew was the one to beat in the first couple of episodes too!

The week David won as PM, Ashleigh may have been the PM that week too as she made all decisions.

Do you think so? I didn't like Kate Walsh, but I like Lucy. She reminds me more of people like Helen and Zara.
I liked Kate Walsh a lot. She was fantastic at selling and presenting, and was an excellent PM on the advert task ("A bowl of this a pirate makes so grab yourself some Treasure Flakes")

Kate was unfairly characterised as robotic. She could let her hair down a bit; remember her with Philip and Ben selling stupid catboxes.

PS I LIKED Harry M last series. I didn't like the way the others all ganged up on him and belittled his efforts all the time.
Harry M made me think of a young Boris Johnson and I hated him accordingly.

I don't want to censor the discussion at all, but I'd just like to remind people that this thread is supposed to be for ranking the final six. A bit of discussion is fine and natural, but I don't want the majority of the thread to turn into that, there are other threads to just talk.

1) George. If he'd bloody well enter.

Start again:

1) Andrew. Controversial, I know. But he's honest, a straight talker, accepts when he has made mistakes, and fights his corner in the boardroom well. Bright too (doing A-levels in the 3 sciences and maths according to the Apprentice website).

2) Patrick. "What! Are you nuts?" I hear you say. I suspect that he has a good business plan up his heavily embroidered sleeve.

3) Lucy. Good with the looks but not with the books. Makes bad mistakes and then keeps her mouth shut in the boardroom - and no one seems to pick up on it.

4) Ashleigh. Pleasant but I see no great spark.

5) Steven. Like Ashleigh, pleasant but no spark seen, possibly reflected in his academics (one BTEC in business).

6) Maria. You can't work with someone that divisive. Did you know she is studying Drama A-level? Now I can believe that!

(I had a look at the candidates' summaries on the Apprentice website earlier. I was going to start a new thread but then decided there are too many new threads).

Wow, I really like that you are an original thinker actually And thanks for the comment about me!

Okay, we're now about halfway through the week, at the moment the scores stand at:

1. Lucy - 96.
2. Steven - 73.
3. Ashleigh - 63.
4. Maria - 59.
5. Andrew - 39.
6. Patrick - 27.

They're actually almost the same order as my original ranks, although Andrew and Patrick are the other way around. But I didn't cheat, honest! Add them up yourselves to check if you like.

You can still vote until the start of the show on Thursday.

Hi George,

1. Lucy - yes, I admit it, she is the best.
2. Ashleigh- still not keen, but has strength of personality to carry her through.
3. Maria - Too gobby to win, but will make the top 3.
4.Steven- quiet but creative, slips under the radar but may come to the fore in the latter stages.
5. Andrew- Teflon Andrew must have something LS likes!
6. Patrick- what can I say, he is just.. Patrick.

Hope we are Friends again.

To clarify, I suspect that Patrick just may have designed the clothes that he wears (??). If so then he has pulled a clever trick - obtained free advertising on a non-advertising TV channel, week after week. The thing is that he could make a lot of money out of it - it is an investable business, which is up and running now. Many of the other contestants' profiles on the Apprentice website don't hint at such apparently plausible ideas, and many ideas are not up and running now, tried & tested, unlike Patrick's.

Of course, the Apprentice website does not reveal contestants' plans for using the £25,000 prize money so it's a guess.

Interesting idea. Sounds plausible in which case he's smarter than I gave him credit for.

My ranking of the final 6:

1. Ashleigh - definitely has her head screwed on, and is the only contestant who ever seems to have a grasp of numbers. I will admit she is not very creative - but I do think she will have very carefully worked through the costs in her business plan.
2. Lucy - although she seems switched on, and she is the least catty of the girls, she doesn't seem to have shown much that she can do anything.
3. Andrew - I would have ranked him above Lucy, except Alan Sugar doesn't seem to like him very much.
4. Steven - he doesn't seem very bright and I think he is only still around because Alan Sugar likes him.
5. Maria - she is too gobby and divisive to win.
6. Patrick - I have yet to see him do or say anything of note. And his lack of assertiveness is annoying.

Well, I've been counting the votes, and unless I have counted wrong (which is a possibility, mental arithmetic is not my strong point), the final scores stand thus.

1. Lucy - 117.
2. Steven - 88.
3. Ashleigh - 83.
4. Maria - 71.
5. Andrew - 50.
6. Patrick - 32.
