Just tried Kies and no update for me on orange.

Nothing on Three yet.I spoke to Three Support on Twitter and they said some time in the new year.

There is not much I am probably going to use on the new update (don't use Facebook etc) but really love the new gallery as it's a lot faster than the old one (I have over 16GB of photos on my SD card and it used to be a bit laggy). I also love the way you can look through your photo albums.

Also the low light camera update should be good if it works (have not had a chance to play with it yet).

I've rooted my S3, does anyone know where can i get the S3 4.2 rom from? I doesn't update itself since i rooted.

Have a look on the XDA developers site.

I'm not sure if you can just update your current ROM when it's been rooted and thought you had to re flash it (I may be wrong though)?

Great update, apart from one thing.

Every time select an icon/widget to move or delete, I now get haptic feedback, even though all vibrate options are switched off. I don't recall having this issue before.

I've gone through every menu with a fine tooth-comb and every vibrate option is switched off.

It's a silly complaint I know, but having my phone vibrate is a pet hate.

I got a second update today after getting 4.1.2 in mid-December.

Apparently fixes the crash issue that some people reported after the 4.2 update

I had the 4.1.2 update last week, now waiting in a queue for the next OTA update to fix the issues with it...

Sorry what issues have you been having (sorry if I missed them in the thread).

Frequently freezing and not waking up when locked.
It was fine before the update, of course it could be an app that is causing it.
I have never been able to get Kies to work so an OTA update is the best option for me.

I'm still on 4.0.4 with Orange. Anyone there update on orange/EE yet?

4.1.2 now available on Three. Very nice it is too.

I have now had both 4.1.2 updates (XELL4 and XELLA) and am still getting freezes (although not as often).
I have removed a lot of apps and photos now and will keep an eye on it.
Not sure if it is one app causing it or a system issue...
