Hello. I actually watched tonight's episode. Ste loves Brendan.

I still feel like I'm suffocating when I'm watching Ste and Doug. If it's not the clashing jumpers, it's that small deli, and the close talking, or the apron round Ste's neck. Oh, and Doug being a controlling git once again.

At least Ste stood up for himself.

Also, the way he goes, "Tonehh," amuses me.

As silly as it is, it's actually true. I think the reason the Stendan story gets so much backlash for it, is because it is believable (as much as a soap can be) and passionate. It gets a reaction out of people, whereas half arse tutt doesn't

Oh I've said it before, violence only raises a stink when it is someone popular getting hit, and not even then if it's by a woman.

Or if it gives people a reason to complain about a storyline they already hate.

Hypocrites R Us.

I did giggle at the emphasis on the club itself, but goodness me Ste looks pretty when he's sulking. His lip scar does things to me.

Tonight's ep was really good, actually. Ste staring longingly at the club made me really sad. And they seem to use the music they played in that scene in pretty much every stendan scene lately- I'm pretty sure they played it when Ste thought Brendan was at the hospital door. ;_; I wonder what they'll play when they're on the Ha'penny Bridge. A part of me sort of thinks that silence would work really well and bring it out a bit (especially since it's going to be a pretty tender moment), though I'm not sure.

Yeah this is kind of what I was trying to say a while ago about the whole thing. :/

Also, this is completely OT but how beautiful is this man?

I wish I looked like him. *_*

Slightly OT. Emmetts raving about Breaking Bad reminds me so much of my pal. He absolutely loves the show and for a good few months, did not shut up about it. Seen one episode and I feel I could recap the whole series to you all.

Emmetts addicted to breaking bad as much as I am to Stendan.

It only seems to be wrong if Brendan does it

It's all wrong, so let's not give anything preferential treatment in how we complain.

Ooh I need to calm down tonight

I'd love it to just be silence. That sounds really good and lots of tension

Breaking Bad is another program on my list, I often wonder why, since I've got nothing but time on my hands, I never get around to watching these programs, I actually really like the sound of that one.

They've started updating the biographies on the main site again. They've finally updated Brendan's picture from the really old one.

Quote:
“Brendan Brady is perhaps the most fascinating character ever to grace the hallowed streets of Hollyoaks Village. At times terrifying, at times hilarious, always weird, he never fails to have us entertained. Finish with a handle-bar moustache and a large-collared shirt (always unbuttoned) and what you have is, quite frankly, a Hollyoaks legend.

Almost as soon as he arrived in the village we were gripped by his dark, tumultuous relationship with Ste. Too afraid to come out as an openly gay man, all-too-often Brendan's frustration manifested itself in violence.

Apart from Ste, the other loves of his life are his sister Cheryl and his sons, of whom we've met one - Declan. Declan came over to Hollyoaks to live with his Dad permanently, but when it became clear that Brendan was having a negative influence on his lad he decided that he had to return home. Declan wouldn't have any of it, but, in a heroic sacrifice, Brendan made his own son think that he didn't love him, just so that he could protect him.

Brendan's made a fair few enemies since coming to Hollyoaks too - you can take a look through all of his sparring partners in this gallery.

Brendan now owns Chez Chez with young Scottish Foxy (after Brendan finally got revenge on his previous co-owner Warren Fox) and the two have jostled over the running of the club ever since. Cue the arrival of Brendan's mysterious prison buddy Walker, who turned out to be an undercover cop. Hell-bent on seeking revenge for the death of his younger brother Cam, who was left severely brain damaged after he bought drugs off Brendan, Walker made it his life mission to hurt Brendan through his loved ones...

Walker got further underneath Brendan’s skin in Hollyoaks Later 2012, when we found out that his father Seamus abused Brendan as a child. Unsatisfied with Brendan’s emotion pain (and the fact he almost died in a massive explosion) Walker then attempted to kill Ste, but accidentally shot Riley (RIP), before drugging Declan and disappearing from the Village. The threat of his return looms over Brendan like a scary looming thing.

Brendan’s feelings for Ste are still very much apparent, but he made a pact with God to stay away from him if Ste made it out of his coma (following the devastating double-wedding bus crash) Will he keep his pact with God, or will Brendan and Ste be together once more?”

HIS MOUSTACHE IS NOT OF THE HANDLE-BARRED VARIETY.

God.

I never made it past the pilot of Breaking Bad, it wasn't bad but multiple seasons of hour long episodes is a commitment I can't make.
