People just don't have a leg to stand on so their using anything they can to try and belittle/annoyed Stendan and their fans.

Stendan are getting back together so their throwing a hissy fit because it's not what they wanted, end of discussion.

Just leave them to it.

I made a decision to stop reading any hate now, and it's lovely.

Oh, Ready... poor, innocent Ready. Not unlike our Brendo, she's a sweetie on the sly
Awwwwwwwww

Yeah I've seen a lot in the last few days, not as bad as what Hanni found but almost.

You're completely right of course. We're all excited and happy for Dublin and what comes after and that's what counts. Also I'm sure Emmett and Kieron really appreciate the support. As you'd know, Miss Kimmett sandwich filler

Now let's back to reality. Imagine Brendan reading bedtime stories to the kids and putting on scary voices
He's gonna be such an awkward Daddy

ETA: Apparently it's because he's a violent murderer, Sarah. And so is Theresa, but I don't see anyone worrying about the fact that she might hurt his child Whatever, let's just move on

I think Lucas will roll with it but Leah might be a bit sassy for a while.

"That's not how Doug did it!"

"Well Douglas isn't here anymore."

*Leah cries*

"Leah hun, what's wrong?"

"Brendan's being mean!"

"Ignore Mr Grumpy, want some sweets?"

*Leah grins evilly at Brendan and he smiles knowingly at her, a bond is formed*

Aw @ Mr Grumpeh.

I think I'd be swimming against the tide if I said that I think Leah's a bit of a brat...

I've said to a few people that Leah might be a bit funny with Brendan for while, since she seems to like Doug now

I've seen some bad ones but it genuinely doesn't bother me anymore, it's just driven by their bitterness.

I was the jam to their sandwich, me

Yes she has gotten quite fond of Doug. But I'm sure Brendan can win her round easily enough I did quite like how Leah asked why Ste and Doug got married why indeed...

Precisely. It was bound to happen.

Seedless?

She is a bit bratty but adorable. And if you're the child of parents who are separated who hasn't played the "Well mum always gives me sweets on a Friday," card?

I'd like to think that Brendan will see Ste's kids as his chance to get things right, after messing up with his own kids.

It's awful to think that when the six months are up, Amy might want to have them back in Manchester with her, and Brendan won't be there to help Ste through it all.

Leah is her father's daughter.

I can't wait until Lucas grows up a bit and can have a bit of a personality. Ever since the recast he doesn't do much. Though he did go off with Amy so that explains it.

But the old one was coming into his own before he left. He was really funny.

Or maybe they'll timeshare the kids, so Ste has them some of the time and it won't be like losing them.

I would love Amy to come back, at least to help Ste survive the loss of Brendan. Maybe he can have his breakdown/drinking/drugs/depression story, and she can come back to help pick up the pieces.

I really hope they give him a proper aftermath.

Yeah, I can imagine her pulling the 'Doug was nicer than you' or 'Doug did that for me' card once or twice when they first get together, but Brendan will probably bribe her with sweets and a sneaky pound here and there

Yep, seedless. Brendan would eat us

Agreed. Without Brendan or Amy, Ste has no-one. I wonder if they'll play it with Doug helping Ste out in a purely platonic sense. Go in the direction they should have at the beginning off the year. Otherwise, Tony and Mitzeee would be his only companions and that's at a push.

I think Ste will need completely refocused when the time comes. If all he has is Doug and that deli he'll be cut loose as a character with big plots because there is no story there. No big ones anyway.

Oh yes that could work too.

I'd love for Amy to come back like that, it'd be so moving

It'll be just like it was before Brendan arrived - all he had was Tony. Rae was offscreen, Newt was gone, Amy wasn't around much. So they gave him a different job and a new circle of people to interact with.

Exactly. It'll have to be a new start all over again or he'll fall by the wayside.

I've just had to rewatch Brendan's first ep and then Ste and Brendan's first meeting. Love that episode so much. I miss Paul Coates.
